Thanks for taking on my commission, George! I have to say it was a tremendously great experience. I learned so much, and the 20 minutes belittle the 12 + hours of work it takes to get something so beautiful! There is nothing like having that experience in your own environment. You helped with the equipment and plant choices and spent so much time ensuring what was created was something the whole family (and dogs!!) could enjoy. You were an absolute pleasure to work alongside and have in the house. I look forward to seeing you in upcoming events very soon. Thanks, mate!!
Another amazing setup and the aquascape setup vids never get old, always learning and taking notes, I could watch these forever! Thanks George and always a pleasure to see the master at work!
That rock is special. It's a simple thought with deep meaning.... I would love to see a scape that highlighted how special that stone is. Various shapes, sizes, and showing it off. Beautiful work. That snippet at the end, set to that music was the perfect moment this morning.
Ive been planning doing a very similar layout but have been struggling with how exactly to do it so this video was perfect inspiration! now to attempt a similar, all be it simpler aquascape based off this for my first ever scape 😊
Love that you have on the Aqua Base shirt! I was there this summer before Luis Carlos winning tank was announced. Would love to see you two do something together… maybe at Horizons or Green Aqua?
Would love to see how the progresses in time, it’s stunning. I prefer natural scapes personally, and i have two scapes myself with this same stone, which i acquired from aquarium gardens a while back.
Hi George, what is the best way to add new shrimp and fish to an aquarium with CO2 injection with no prior fish or shrimp ? I’ve having real trouble finding the information online
It’s a South American themed tank, but nothing in it except the swords are found in that continent in the wild! Perhaps we should just call it an “Earth” themed tank instead!
Staurogyne repens, Echindorus grisebachii “Bleherae” (will dominate the background), Echindorus grisebachii “Tropica” originate from South America but the theme is based more on the proposed fish (Angelfish, various tetras, corydorus). “Themed” is a subjective quality too. For the really pedants out there, all these plants come from greenhouses and laboratories in Denmark, so maybe it should be a Danish themed scape. 😂
@@GeorgeFarmerStudios Like I say, just the swords, but admittedly I forgot the Staurogyne. Does black elderly stone and manzanita wood originate from SA? My comment wasn’t intended to be negative at all, just observing that more components came from elsewhere. Still beautiful work nonetheless.
That's my fault! I was vague about what I was looking for (very vague!), and there was some adaptation and bending. I am really pleased with the outcome.

Excellent decision getting George in for the scaping. You might have seen him do my tank a year ago. Would agree with me he's a nice and decent guy
@@zaink7037 Not a single regret. Such a genuine and lovely guy. 12 hours of hard work, and every minute was a pleasure.
🙏 grateful for the opportunity
I really like it. Simple but stunning!

That would be great! I have so much respect for the Aqua Base and Green Aqua teams 😃
Did the famous colander bite the dust?! Great scape. Beautiful tank!
Hi George, well done on creating this beautiful scape , will be great to get an update . All the best , Martin
Thank you Martin!
Love this scape !,add some fissidens moss to the rocks!
Excellent job again george with your artistic skills on this tank. Still need come over to mine to do a 1 year update
beautiful scape George.
A fresh clean Aquarium is good looking just like that...
I'll even admire it like that for a while before starting to "populate" it...
My next tank ❤

Hi Doris!
She says hello back. But in an 'I dont really care way.' that only French Bulldogs can do. 🙂
Beautiful scape m8 plant heavy totally agree I made that mistake at the start failed massively
George what are the light settings set at ? and will he be dosing ferts in the first few weeks?
The Chihiros WRGB2 Pro 90 is at 25% (WRGB all the same) and will be that way for around 3 weeks. Currently dosing 10ml per day of TNC Complete.

If you’re seeing plenty of plant growth and testing zero ammonia and nitrite then just add a few fish and shrimp, and observe
❤❤❤❤
Sieht sehr gut aus , aber mit einer Schwarzen Rückwand würde es mir noch besser gefallen

@@GeorgeFarmerStudios oh, I meant in height 😅
10-15cm, less in lower light, more in high light
This cabinet height size, please
83cm, or about 33 inches.
Black elderly stone doesn’t appear to be available in the U.S. yet.
I was just thinking that I need to use this stone on my next scape and noticed the same. Sucks.

It’s a fair comment. I don’t know the answers to your questions. The theme is ambiguous unless we’re talking about the proposed fish.

Anubias, yet another trash name, actually.
>>It's named after the Egyptian god of death, Anubis
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. I like the Anubias name. Death > dark > shade. Makes perfect sense. Have a lovely day, Steffan 😎
