I live in the UK, so when my Vic came here, it legally needed the 4-bulb wire harness for the amber turn signals. The third brake light was also changed into a fog light. I'm undergoing the process of restoring the original red blinker 2-bulb setup, but the brakes won't work on the 2-bulb setup. The tail lights and blinkers work, but no brakes, whereas on the 4-bulb harness, everything works. I think I'm getting closer to finding the solution, I'm yet to inspect the brake wire in the connector for the Multifunction switch and I'm also yet to inspect the third brake light connection to the brake pedal. I'm wondering if it is the MFS or the Brake pedal connection that's causing my issue. Hopefully you resolved your problem, my dude.
each police car from every municipality/town/city/state are made different,,In my area we have 3 Police divisions and each one even if they use the same model car are kitted out completly different..Mine thankfully I found out where it was made and talked with some of the mechanics.
@@v8ryderzautoclub113 I bought the blue one 1st,,then found out it was the other pedal switch and because I opened it they refused the refund,so I`m out 90$ on that part and it was around the same price for the other,,good luck
new p71 owner here, my blinkers dont work nor do my brake lights or emergency flasher lights. when i swap the fuse they blow after use immediately such as when i press the brake itll light up once and then immediately blow. do you have any advice? i cant seem to think of the issue
Hello, sorry for the late reply, heat wave here so I dont turn on my pc much,,I never heard of this happen before,I asked some friends when they answer I`ll reply fast..good luck till then
all answers go to a short in the wires, either its loose from the ground wire to the end,or some of the plastic protection has rubbed off,or loose, or if you installed something in between or when you put the new bulb in it was not placed properly causing the short,
I have several wires that where from the police use and I removed a lot but the few left are all wound up all across the dash to the back so I just leave those in, thanks for watching
