It’s hilarious that in his obsession over finding out how certain creatures taste like, Laios ends up figuring out their weakness
alot of reactors basically missed the detail in ep 1 where they explained u can be revived in this world via church or magic. (Refer to scene where they talked about can you revive if you are pooped out.)
that's why they all are going to find the dragon again cause the sister (even if dead inside) can be revived by a priest/church or revival magic if they got someone.
ohhh yeah, i remember the revival magic now that you said that.
Marcille also mentions that her first death was to a slime when she got slimed again.
@@FreshestAnimeplease react on 'my instant death ability is so overpowered' this anime is so good and funny🙏❤️
Right, the urgency of the show is making it to her remains before it's fully digested because they doubted they could revive her if she's poop. Thankfully they said the Red Dragon has the slowest digestive system of all monsters.
Isn't it only his sister that can use revival magic ? would they have to find some new priests in it ?
Laios is definitely that type of guy who wonder how alien taste.
Pause 😂 but true
Oh definitely
I believe he is chinese.
Acidic :3
I want to know now too 😅
The food we eat was only able to evolve because people like Laios existed. Imagine that. How many people would have died to tell us what we can and can't eat? We should thank them and eat our food.
For real, there is a lot of crazy dishes in the world and weird preparation methods that someone came up with in the past.
"This edible ain't shi-" *drops dead*
They actually would have observed animals that they knew had poison intolerances similar to humans to see what those animals could eat safely. There is one very poisonous thing though that I've often wondered how people figured out it was the cause and that's death caps given the fact that it takes like a month to kill a person.
He kept thinking about the suits of armor not just because he wanted to eat them but because everyone kept saying they didn't have eyes or ears, but they responded to noise and when one lost its head it flailed its arms around on the floor as if it couldn't see. They also turn their heads to the group constantly which insinuates that they do have some sort of eyes. If the suits of armor couldn't see or hear then their reactions to the group and what happened during the fight wouldn't make sense. I was thinking the exact same thing as soon as that one lost its head and was rummaging around searching for it.
I love how this show's monsters are way different than monsters we're used to seeing in video games and d&d and they find a way how to cook it to delicious meals
For real, imma put Mollusk living armor in my campaign now just to fuck with my players because they can't dispel magic them or destroy them in the conventional way.
Dm, You success in cast dispel on the armor, but he kick You in the balls cuz that didn't work on it.
I like that the "armor" is an actual shel, meaning those fuckers chose to be stylish
I thought it was more that they find armor, attach to it, and the real shell is the second layer. Which would be why they can be pried apart with a broken sword on the inside. It would also be why the steamed ones tasted dingy, because the helmet stench (from being worn by adventurer then maybe dying in) seeped in.
@@truenatural20 no, these mf shellfish grow iron shell, not kitin shell like any of our reallife shellfish. This explain why the living armors have 2 layer with their soft flesh in between (typical man-made armors are made from singular plate, not 2 thin plate pinned together). Meaning the dingy, iron taste and the damp, rotting moss taste will alway gonna be there if you cook them without clean them properly
@@iepvienredstoneHuy007 I’m still not sure. I still see it like the outer iron is real armor, and the inner plate is the shell. That explains how the creature is sandwiched between two layers in the armor. Where I grew up, the beaches had things called slipper snails. They would live in stacks on each other’s shells, and suction on each other for protection. I could see these being similar. The creatures hatch, are brought to empty armor, and line the inside. They then line themselves in a new layer of shell a and stick to the walls of the armor, with gaps for muscle connections. Although, I have been watching the dub, and it could very well be that in the sub it states that they grow the iron. I haven’t seen ep 4, so until tonight, I’m not gonna be sure if the sword is the same species or not, or if the sword is partly alive or completely alive either.
They're less like snails and more like oysters, clams, and mussels.
But they drowned in water tho
@@himboghost629 well they do live on dry-land so they're like a land version of oysters, clams or mussels. There exist underwater-species of snails as well
but the eyes of the sword are snail eyes, most bivalves don't have eyes, scallop's eyes don't look like that
@@hirokokueh3541 ig their like a combo
I am a biologist and as they started to go into this episode and show the living armor I just kept chanting over and over again mollusk, mollusk, make it a mollusk! So I was tickled pink when they did!😂 I had to go and see how people were reacting to this episode to see how often people had that line of thought.
Marcille said last episode that her first death was due to a slime so I dunno why that was surprising lol. She's 100% my favorite though and I love that her ears are super expressive.
Even Senshi had enough of Laios's antics, lol. Like bro, you were the one who wants it, so you ate it first.
Laios is excited for having a monster sword. Essentially the mollusks are using artificial shells they didn't grow themselves a lot like hermit crabs who use all kinds of things for homes including human garbage sometimes.
Love to see our first Kensuke introduction in this episode.
"It was my first death"- Knight dude
That makes a lot of sense if you've ever played DND, as death is a common acurance in classic DND or AD&D as it's called.
However, it's not that common from what I know about modern DND, as most Dugneon Masters (DMs), try to make death feel more punishing than just "I died but now I'm alive" like in Dragon Ball.
It's more the case that rules as written you actively have to try to unfairly murder a player for them to die in modern DnD (3.5 to 5e).
Player characters became unreasonably tougher.
Laios is crazy but I like him 😂
Jesus...the dude will eat anything huh 🤣😬
Yup, you just summed up the whole story😂
1:20 this whole flashback makes me think of Solo Leveling but Laois will probably say "What do you think the statues taste like?"
Snails and slugs are molluscs...but so are clams, oysters, mussels, scallops, octopi, squid, cuttlefish, and nautili.
The molluscs in those armour would fall into class bivalvia, so scallops, oysters, etc., and to my knowledge, you can eat pretty much all bivalves, so yes, I am slurping that shit up like I'm starving.
Am I the only one who thought that living armor with lion helmet looked like Ornstein from Dark Souls.
scallops growing in shell or rock, in my country is a food partner with beer or liquor during drinkng sessions
8:27 he looked up what a mollusk was 😂
Or a stream chat
it would be wild if the mollusk in the sword spawns more and gets in his armor and they end up helping him move to safety if he gets knocked unconscious or something.
It would be funny if we get to see domestication in action.
no, I wouldn't eat shellfish in the first place.....so that is a no on armor mollusks......lol
Kensuke!!! our favorite, cowardly sword
The metal armors is the shells
I'd definetly give these a try, always loved seafood and i'll try any meat at least once. Wonder if they'll treat a spider monster like crab legs.
Lived Armor 🦪
BRO NOT THE RE:ZERO SOUND EFFECT XD
Dude you haven't eaten oysters before or something? They're delish.
Did you missed Marcille saying her first death is from a slime?
I'm not a big fan of oyster food because I don't like the taste but this episode is hilarious and delicious.
5:34 Igris ?
THE FUCKING RE ZERO AUDIO STING
Will you also do reaction to Bang Brave Bang Bravern anime
KENSUKEEEEEEE
Its like crab shells, but worse
I comment so people can't say first
