A sad reality of our church today... Had Bible studies on church hardly giving out to the community last Friday... The church is only good at receiving lately.. but not good at giving... Fine skit sir....
First of all I must appreciate you @ Elder for using ur platform to sensitized the general public about the controversial subject that has cause mayhem in our society. As a Christian I will say your stand was cristal clear and likiba perspective understandable but however the world of God stands forever. Tithe is crucial if judiciously appropriated without diversion. It was well stipulated and articulated in the bible as to HOW it should be disburse and also the mythology required and I can say categorically without prejudice that many people in church have missed it and going the other way around. We must understand that this current fight is sponsored against the church by the devil using insider to cause schism among the body of Christ. President Obasanjo said few days ago " I used the Igbo to fight Igbos" so we understand the law of spiritual warfare. For now I think in this season we should not give our attention to the devil by preaching another gospel, tithe, offering, and other doctrine that dose not reflect Jesus is secondary and we must learn to understand priority and focus on the only gospel of Jesus. People can decide what they want either to pay or not, this is a big distraction from the pit of hell, I wish we all will channel all the energy, time and resources into advancing God's kingdom than the frivolous subject. The church has come to stay, no pastor within and without can prevail.
