How can the Holden run supersofts? I'm sure you said they had to be mediums?🤔 If it's well known, are the series organisers just ignoring someone blatantly cheating? 🤷🏼♂️
Was bloody exciting to watch, such a big bag of bad luck you lost power steering man 🤦🏻♂️ not what you want at all! But well done to still finish the race! 👌😁
Brilliant video 👍. Unlucky on race 2, is it using more fuel with new turbo or just one of those 'bollox' moments? 😂. That E46 is very well set up for the fast bends too 👌
We think it's an odd combo of the circuit being heavy on fuel anyway, the new turbo making more power, and bizzare atmospheric conditions on the day. Everyone else commented they'd used way more than ever before also! We usually go out on 29-30L and come back in with 5-6 left as a safety, but this time it used the bloody lot and then some! Guage read 0.0L remaining when we got back to Parc Ferme and it was coughing on the cool down! E46 is unreal isn't it? Proper thing that. hard to fight in a fwd shopping car!
@TeamPrawnRacing weird one on the fuel then! At least you're guage allowed you to diagnose issue straight away rather than panic about engine lol... I usually budget around 1.3-1.5ltrs per minute on mine, dependant on track. That allows safety net for red flags/restarts too (though when it was on carbs it did use 1.5ltrs per minute!!). That illusive win will come, and no doubt very soon! 🏁🏁
You may have mentioned in a video before Nick but what are the costs of this series? Registration for the championship and entry per round? CTRC website doesn't give that much info on cost.
Race entry fees are typically £400 per round Charles. Registration for both CTCRC and BARC is around £250 all in for the season. It's absolutely the best club you could ever hope for. So so friendly, no cliques, just great honest down to earth people!
It's just not an option sadly. With 10j rims and a 265 tyre, the steering is unimaginably heavy without PAS, and there are no suitable racks that could be made to work manually, without slowing the rack rate right down which would bring about more problems! It's all just teething issues though, the setup is all fairly new still really, so we're happy working through it!
How is Bryan able to overtake you round the outside like that in the e46 time and time again, insanity! Would be interesting to know the differences between his and your setup.
You'll notice on the big heavy square stops like into Druids, we have a very slight advantage over the M3's. But on anything that's remotely sketchy, like Quarry at Combe or Paddock Hill at Brands, , the BMWs are just SO much more stable on the brakes it's unreal. Motorsport ABS helps on Bryans, but the E46 as a whole is just such a great car!
To be fair, that EG was impressive and punching well above its weight with less power whilst running on AO52 and not slicks!😮
I came for the racing. I stayed for the turbo noises.
Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
I reckon I should make a compilation of turbo noises! This current one sounds SOOOO good
@@TeamPrawnRacing I'd watch. 😂

Only found your channel today and subbed, looking forward to watching more ✊🏻
Thanks for joining us, great to have you along for the ride!
Congratulations on another podium mate.
What a day of battles you had! Not a bad finish, getting on the podium with no fuel
Thanks! Still kicking ourselves on the fuel wondering what could have been if we'd had a run on 1st onto the GP loop on that last lap!
Well done mate, got a feeling day 2 will go well for you!
We'll see. I'm looking forward to finding out too! haha
Bravo
Mega driving Nick! Shame about the little issues :(
Great saves from yourself and Josh.
Great race ans what a great build
Thanks Paul!
What a day. High drama!
I think i would have had bryan in the hedge a couple of times on those turn ins 😊
Maybe I'm just too polite 😂😂👌🏻
Epic racing!! ❤
Nick your setup is next level and that turbo is wicked and sounds mental!
It was a great battle to watch between you and Bryan

Thanks guys! We'll keep pushing!
Great video 👌🏼
That e46 handles soo well fair play ,,
Imagine what the audi could do with a winter aero dedicated upgrade 🤔🤔👀
Doesn't it just? Stability we can only dream of!
Winter aero is very definitely planned!

Awesome video yet again, love it.... Nick we need merch where do i buy a cool pit shirt with all the sponsors ?
If merch is something people actually want, then I can definitely make that happen!

Another great video! Would it be worth ditching power steering to avoid future problems?
It's just not an option sadly. With 10j rims and a 265 tyre, the steering is unimaginably heavy without PAS, and there are no suitable racks that could be made to work manually, without slowing the rack rate right down which would bring about more problems!

We’re is part 2 nick ?
