Let's take a moment for Ancelotti, he's been brave and given youth a chance over the veterans. Vinicious, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Valverde, Carlo has given them a chance at toughest times and they've delivered for him, the future is bright at Real
Here another thing if City would have advanced all we would have heard is Pep the genius Pep the hod of all the coaches Pep this Pep that …. I think we should give Ancelotti his prop 5th CL final en route to become the first manager to win 4 CL that should separate him from the rest
@@Bonapartes007 , pep and carlos are both great coaches. maybe today is not Pep's time, he can win it next yr or the yr after next, all great coaches have lost semi finals and finals, it is not the end of the world, he still has time.
Their entire argument was “if this didn’t happen and if that happened”. Well guess what, if Benzema scored that header at 3rd minute and if Vinicius scored his wide open goal chance at the 45 minute of 2nd half we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Then he comments about Camavinga’s throw ball to benzema and compare it to a sunday league sequence, does he remember how city scored their goals? Their first goal was from a cross, their 2nd was from a bad cross and a rookie mistake by Alaba, their 4th goal came after real madrid players froze thinking that it was a foul. If you wanna praise city fine be my guest but do not belittle or slander real madrid on your way because it is just pathetic. Football is played until the final whistle, if real madrid decides to start playing at 90th minute then that’s fine. It is not Real Madrid fault’s that City players shat their pants and crumbled like a cherry cobbler after the 1st goal. They should be thankful that Rodrygo didn’t score his hattrick right after the 2nd goal, Ederson gave them a shot into extra time. Let this be a lesson to entire Europe, DONT YOU EVER WRITE REAL MADRID OFF. APOR LA14.
No team is as big as Real Madrid especially in UCL. I’m a Liverpool fan and also a big Madrid fan. It’s a win win situation for me but talking down or Real Madrid who beat PSG, Chelsea and Man City on their way to the final. Liverpool had easily ties compared to Madrid. For me Madrid have to be the favorites. I want Liverpool to win the quadruple but it is what it is.
@@Aa-wq3ef no he wasn’t. And if he did, we missed other chances. Vinicius alone missed 3 chances one of them was 1 Vs 1 with ederson and the other was an open goal. So their argument that their was nothing until Rodrygo goal is simply invalid.
Everyone will talk about Courtoius, Benzama, Modric. But truth is, this season’s success belongs to the youth. VINI. RODRIGO. VALVARDE. CAMAVINGA. Without them we would have been no where. Hats off to the recruiters.
My analysis of oil city -Less UCL than Nottingham forest -Less premier league than Liverpool -Less FA cup than Tottenham -Less world club cups than Atletico Madrid -Less big than United -Less international titles than Ipswich town They are not even bigger than Derby county.
lol that's not the truth. The three players you mentioned have been the CORE of the team's success this season. The youth have stepped up for sure, but they were stepping up to meet those three at their level.
The mentality, the sheer determination this Madrid team has is incredible. They play like they know they will win. U just can't bet against them. Wow just wow.

I used to think that real madrid's habit of winning without even dominating the game was entirely bcuz of individual brilliances of superstars (ronaldo, bale) etc But now i see that every madrid player is capable of those kinda magical stuff. Its like the players get that power once they wear the madrid shirt.
You are the first person who has correctly identified one player as being underrated and that is Nacho. But Cama is not chopped liver. Brought in to star and he changed the game

The Madrid-City game for me was more of a life lesson than a football takeaway. For City, quality and logic aside sometimes in life you need to be ruthless and take your chances and bury your enemy when they are weak. For Madrid, desire, self belief, determination, matched with charm and know-how goes a long way in getting you over the line especially if you know your history and worth. Simple.

it was incredible - considering the contrast back at the Etihad. even when City were 2 goals ahead, the fans just weren't delivering behind they're boys. there's a sense of belief from the players down on the field and all the way to the fans sitting at home. the energy was tangible in the stadium.

1. No doubt in my mind. Not an RM fan, but there was no doubt as to the final result. 2. Mendy's goal line stop was historic!! 3. That pass, in the overtime, from Courtois to Cavaminga (that lead to the penalty), was sublime. Pure beauty.
He doesn't play in the premier league....you know how this goes...🤷🏿♂️ Hasn't done it on a rainy night in Stoke. Only just got into the same league as Harry Kane.
I disagree that Real Madrid didn’t do anything during these 90 mins. They defended well against possibly the best tactical team in the world. They fought and took the game until the last instance, sure it wasn’t pretty but not many teams aside from Liverpool can stay alive against city in 90 mins let alone 180 mins. City was not comfortable the whole game, they didn’t risk as much as they usually do because they knew madrid was capable of a lot at the counter. They controlled the game but they never felt truly in control of the score line.
The defeat would have been avoided, I'm a Liverpool fan and i saw total loss of concentration by your boys at that moment that really matters. Jack Grealish for instance had the opportunity to prevent Cavarjal from taking that deadly cross into your box 18 where4 to 5Madrid players were waiting. He was just looking at him dressing the ball when he should have run into him to block him. Painful the claim tha City and Liverpool are the best in the world is open to questioning now. I wanted an all English final

If there is one club in the world that should never be counted out is Real Madrid. Honestly the winning mentality of this club is unmatched. Incredible club. As a Man United fan I wish we had this winning mentality.
You do just like us. Remember 1999? your current problem is the personality of your players. Just remove the bad apples and get a world class coach ( Ancelotti tier). its not really difficult
To think that Real Madrid won by playing the final minutes and extra time with Benzema, modric, kroos, casimero and Vini on the bench!. The winning mentality and never say die attitude of Madrid is incredible.
Camavingas introduction into the game initiated all 3 comebacks for Real Madrid in the knockout games! Hope Ancelotti starts him in the final ahead of Kroos!
Nah if he starts the problem is that he is sometimes too rushed and could pick up an early card. Also we need fresh legs in the 2nd half so it's better to bring him on 2nd half
I think its way better to bring him as sub in 2nd half like rodrygo...cuse then the teams get bulldozed by the energy they and valverde brings alongside modric, benzema, courtois, and casemiro in the dying minutes
The thing about Real Madrid is that when they see that they can win the game, they start to get momentum, and once they get momentum there’s no way of stopping them because they have the strong team mentality and that’s what other teams don’t have and speaking as a Barca fan that’s what Barcelona needs to gain in order to compete in Europe
@@lyndoncmp5751 how are they lucky? It's our player who cleared the ball. There are no ifs in the game of football. You should know that. I saw the 4-3 match at Etihad. I knew then that if Madrid were able to score that many goals (in spite of the loss), somehow they would find a way to make a comeback at their own stadium, no matter what.
@@Leetbeast totally valid point, among many other points consider mate. City a "better team", but didn't kill Madrid when they could. They did concede 6 goals in two matches, so you have to look at the key plays where they failed to be solid in defense, and the many chances they missed as well, although some of them because of Courtuois being solid. If you don't kill a team like Madrid, you're in for some suffering if Madrid have self-belief that one of their plays will turn into a crucial goal.

To be honest, City scoring that goal in the second half was actually bad for them rather than good because it was when Real Madrid woke up and decided to go all in
not really true, after the goal city still had most of the ball and almost put 2 more in the net until the last moment when Madrid came back to life and got a goal back
There is a legitimate gap in technical ability between Madrid and City but people are overstating it IMO. The biggest difference between the sides is that intangible called championship heart. Man City are strategic giants and a well drilled technical machine BECAUSE of that it takes them to the cusp of greatness BUT when they get there and get punched in the mouth they are forced to rely on things that you can't coach. That's not natural for them so THEY FLINCH. Real Madrid does not flinch, no matter the circumstances. CAMPEONES!
Agreed! DeBruyne is the only guy who looks like he would rather die than lose. Madrid to a man ran themselves to death. I don’t know how Vinicius, Miltao, Modric, etc….are able to play that way time and time again.
Yes, quality isn't that big but the difference in pedigree is immense. Also, Real have some real quality young players on the bench whilst city have seasoned veterans on the bench.
It's never over until it's over and Real Madrid has learned to believe so...Besides, from the images Guardiola clearly did not believe his team had the final in the pocket after Mehrez goal...he had a quite scared face during the entire match. What a football game!
You have to understand this team has a lot of flaws, but that doesn't take away the hunger and determination playing in a Real Madrid shirt. Rodrygo, my goodness. Super sub.
It's because their form in the champions league has been well below par. However, the fact that they've been under-performing and STILL made it to the final, is just incredible.
Ale lowkey such a great analyst. So true about City’s inability to get ugly - they win the PL because it’s a war of attrition against so many other teams - only Liverpool and Spurs seem to challenge them
But after the second leg against atletico they did play ugly. They were out played by a team that struggles to even get men forward. 2 weeks ago people were praising city for literally getting their hands dirty in a brawl and now they don’t have enough fight? Which one is it?
Exactly! City always try to play the tiki taka style and cant cope when it gets ugly. In PL they get helped A LOT by the referees!! if any one tries to play the rugged style against them they'll end up with 9 or 10 players. So glad to see City bottle it!!! :D

I am a Barca fan.but respect to Madrid, the experienced guys in their team are preparing the new generation like Rodrigo, Camavinga, Valverde, vinicius all these guys, imparting all the years of experience of Kroos, Modric,Caswmiro, Benzema. These guys are turning these young players into mentality monsters as well that's the scary part. And it pisses me off that Camavinga, Valverde and vinicius if they win the CL would have won a league title and a CL before Pedri, Gavi and Fati, and maybe just like it happened in 2010s our youngsters will gain more experience and win CLs and league titles themselves and I am sure it will happen with Xavi, because Barca rightnow are not throwing money at players like pep is doing at city to think you can just buy your way and create a team like that 2011 Barcelona team which was mainly made up of talent but most importantly that team had a soul because most of the players are from the academy unlike this man City team.but man , and I don't think pep will win the CL with city. But man Madrid!! Come on man Camavinga is a player, he is a baller, and I love pedri and I think he is the heir to Iniesta like most people but Camavinga is definitely taking on the mantle from Modric and Kroos when they leave, he is a baller and Valverde is quality as well.

If you pull your team and play defensively and the other team loads attackers (to come back) then when it goes to extra time you are always in trouble. Even in penalty shootout, the forwards should be better than the defenders so you're always gonna be in trouble in that situation. Not to mention the momentum and crowd being with Madrid, they were always against it once that 2nd goal goes in.
Pep thought the game was wrapped up in the 80th minute. the insertion of those youth players from Don Carlo looked so well calculated. it was almost as if he was waiting for Pep to make that error and then immediately terrorize them. Stevie that ball into the box did not look desperate because it's very calculated to reach Benzema for him to get Rodrygo in his fresh leg to get ahead of the keeper. It came out of training ground, this is what people overlook, in desperate time you need precision to get goals and Real Madrid does this best, time and time again
When he says that real madrid were dead, does he mean to say the equal possession before those goals, does he mean the higher 1st half xg, does he mean equal no. Of shots, does he mean the higher overall xg and more no. Of big chances. They are all just salty because all them underestimated madrid, even as a madrid fan, at 89th minute I thought it was all over, but still I was proud the way my team played because they had shown heart to win.
Liverpool and real madrid showed what it means to be a big club that is grounded in history and knows how to never give in. City is just playing so grate football
They have a monstrous mentality. I've heard the phrase "Die to live" and it looks like it's made for them. To win against the current Real Madrid, Two goal difference isn't enough let alone one goal difference. You have to completely destroy them, take your chances, and step on them to win. Otherwise, you're doomed.
Same with Liverpool. Madrid have lost 4 games in the CL already this season. Liverpool have only lost 3 games in total all season out of nearly 60 matches.
I don't know what game they did watch but in 2nd leg game was balanced real was able to play through the back and had fair share of possession and after the city scored Real had a go and city can't defend . The difference was when real Madrid needed the goal they got two in dying minutes of game but city were seen very unlikely to get a goal when they were behind
Y'all counted them out. I started watching this game at the 82nd minute and knew it was coming. I didn't think they'd get 3 but I knew it was going to extra time.
I actually think that City was playable for most part of the game yesterday. Their biggest chances came after the first goal when Real had to open up and they were very vulnerable at the back. But up to that point, it wasn't a game where City were that much superior, they probably have been a little more dangerous, but Real had their chances too. Even though they didn't have a shot on goal, they had chances, I mean for example Vinicius missed an open goal for christ sake. So it was a surprisingly even game up into the first goal, after the first goal City dominated for 15 minutes but like guys said, they didn't bury Real and after the first Rodrygo goal that came from nowhere, the magic happened once again at Bernabeu. There are many things to improve in Real's game, but they certainly have a very unique fighting spirit and ability to rise up in moments in which you think they are already finished. Maybe it's not logical that they are in the final, but it's definitely not a coincidence.
City always look playable. Even atletico de Madrid looked dangerous on the attack when they were actually trying to score. Making city seem like the bus drivers in the second half of the second leg.
Very true. These teams (Liverpool and Manchester City) have been given so much praise that you forget they're playable. Liverpool conceded 5 goals against Benfica, 3 of them at Anfield. If attacked, they do concede and the Liverpool fullbacks aren't great defensively, especially Trent and the pundits have Liverpool confidently winning the match. We should be grateful that the game isn't played in the Studio by analysts
True. The narrative that City had control in this match is false. They were superior, greatly in the first leg and marginally in the second, but they also were very fragile at the back and didn't take the sting out of the game on any of the FOUR (!) occasions they had a two goals lead. They have a mental fragility in this competition which is hard to explain.
@@MrMacbridemax I agree, City had as many oportunities to bury Real as you could ask for in UCL semifinal, but they also were vulnerable. People say Real took all their chances, but that's not really true, they missed a few too, but in the end they were just more clinical in those crucial moments. First 70 minutes of second leg I was thinking that yes, City are slightly better in this game, but Real is also not playing badly and can win this game. Of course, after the first goal everything has changed, but they managed to come back from the dead anyway and Rodrygo almost completed hattrick in three minutes, which would be even more hilarious than as it is.

Here another thing if City would have advanced all we would have heard is Pep the genius Pep the hod of all the coaches Pep this Pep that …. I think we should give Ancelotti his prop 5th CL final en route to become the first manager to win 4 CL that should separate him from the rest

For me Madrid have to be the favorites. I want Liverpool to win the quadruple but it is what it is.
Benzema was offside for that header.
@@Aa-wq3ef no he wasn’t. And if he did, we missed other chances. Vinicius alone missed 3 chances one of them was 1 Vs 1 with ederson and the other was an open goal. So their argument that their was nothing until Rodrygo goal is simply invalid.

Yeah cuz he had taken half his players off and gone defensive.
That is the problem with this team. Composure is underrated and you could see the panic in the players once Real madrid scored their first goal.
Pep thought the game was wrapped up in the 80th minute. the insertion of those youth players from Don Carlo looked so well calculated. it was almost as if he was waiting for Pep to make that error and then immediately terrorize them. Pep had regrets and you could see his panic and disbelief when he brought on Sterling.

Madrid didnt play as bad as everyone is making out to be. Vinicius should have done better on 2 or 3 occasions. I think the game was kinda balanced.
Also Camavinga / Valvede midfield might need to be phased in slowly, Kroos is showing his age
Yeah these pundits are very radicalized and stubborn. You see it with Atleti, they only have insults to say even when they put in a really good effort and challenged city. They developed ideas about teams and then ignore any evidence against them, which leads to them ignoring chances Madrid had and concluding that City completely dominated.
It was a balanced game I agree.
Also, Benzema missed a header in the opening minutes. Dude didn’t even hit target
Real had 0 shots on target in 90 minutes at home
Exactly. 10 seconds into the second half, if Vinicious buries the sitter, it becomes a different story. You don't have to always play sexy football; getting the ball inside the net is paramount. These guys are talking rubbish.
This just prove it that a good coach does matter, against PSG and Chelsea and city today we can really see that the coach won the games for them with all the changes he made and when he made them. Incredible
Pep Guardiola is hands down one of the greatest coaches currently and in the history of football. This game doesn’t take anything away from that

Liverpool and real madrid showed what it means to be a big club that is grounded in history and knows how to never give in. City is just playing so grate football
Yes, Liverpool came from 0-2 down away in a tough stadium.
Realmadrid is the benchmark for any football club.
On that time..i stop watching .it
I actually think that City was playable for most part of the game yesterday.
@@ntokozohlatshwayo165 I praise Man City and Liverpool especially too, they play great exciting football. But everyone is playable.
