'Shrowsbury School'. 'Shrewsbury Town FC' sounds like the posh school likes it one way and we all call it Shrewsbury which is how I understand it was referred to in the 16/17th Century. It will probably end up like that bloke said, loosing it's 'r' ...'Shoosbry' much easier. ;-)

Shrewsbury is a nice place when it’s sunny, but I would say That Shrewsbury gets more rain than my home town Crewe, as it’s very near north wales.
