As someone like you that has, I can only assume, done many live performances, you know that two performances live will not sound the same. It's nearly impossible. If you care to research further, just try to find other instances of Tommy "performing" the Mega Man section solo for VGL, they all sound exactly the same. And just for a quick example of something that just doesn't make sense about his playing, the part @14:31, you'd need a tremolo system on a guitar to do this descending note effect, Tommy does not have a tremolo system on that guitar.

So I'm here late to the party after watching videos on the fallout of the Amico scandal and I eventually found myself here. Didn't know that Tommy was involved with this too (or the owner even). But OMFG his self-absorbed antics are absolutely cringe! The most puzzling thing is that playing guitar automatically gives you the cool look. It kind of just lends itself to looking cool. It's a hard thing to fuck up but Tommy has managed to do it here wonderfully well! In fact, this is the first time I've ever seen someone mess up the playing guitar look. Didn't think it was possible. Amazing! 😳 Still though, it's been a very educational watch for me on how NOT to behave on stage when playing guitar. I'm pretty sure I've never done this as you'd surely have to be trying intentionally to do what he's doing. But I'll certainly be more conscious of it in the future. Thanks Tommy 👌.
Would be nice to have quartet performances of themed songs, such as iconic mixes from old RPGs such as The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Shadowgate. A small gathering for a good performance.

Although I did get to when you have the chance to in Kingdom Hearts II........OMG......it took me over 50 tries on the hardest difficulty to defeat him. I will admit, Shao Kahn gives him a run for his money but I would say equally tied for me, he's another WAY OP boss that drives you up the wall.
i was there march 16. and i can say it was epic! but the orchestras was the half of this here and world of warcraft wod feels a bit faky, cause i known the original and the orchestrad version was the exactly same..... next was the blizzard PR for the new overwatch. i came there for nostalgia music and not for trailer or commercial. in MY opinion.. overwatchss trailer or intro music is not good^^

Just went to Distant Worlds and Zelda symphony. Highly recommended! He ruined One Winged Angel with his guitar. I agree with other reviews. Dude needs to take a sit back and let the show run its course. Great orchestra but bad host.
The pieces were performed fantastically. I like how excited Tommy is, and also how he tries to engage the crowd, but I didn't like him getting close to the conductor. Shredding next to her is awkward af, because she has to pay attention to the orchestra in front of her. Personal space is important, and an orchestra setting demands a level of respect. He's not duelling with a long haired fellow guitarist. Maybe he just likes the smell of her perfume? :D I get what he is trying to achieve here, he's just trying to a bit of add spice and excitement to everything.
Seriously, it would be better off that Tommy would just get out of the stage ruining the best and most epic video game themmes ever concieved with his guitar.
