I like that he mopped the baseboard heaters I know they aren't electric....thatd be shocking Personally, just pour 200 dollars worth of floor leveller down. Better, smoother, faster, cheaper, less toxic, less garbage...
Caution ! ! --- I have read articles that SOY based removers like this leave a "oily residue" that gets into cement and is VERY difficult to get out of the cement floor!!! If your planning to use a Thinnest to re-tile it could possibly lift and ruin your job.
It's non-friable in this state. Theyre doing it in a way that creates no dust. I'm doing it myself and wish I had that heat machine. It softens everything up so they can just peel up without making the asbestos friable.
Wanting to install glue down hardwood. Is it best to leave or do this process to get to bare concrete??? Only issue is mopping adding moisture to concrete so glueing down may not stick so well !!! Please responde
I did this in my basement about 7 years ago. I used an absorbent material to sop up the liquid and put it in contractors bags. It’s kind of like synthetic sawdust ( much better ). It was easy! Let it soak up the goop and sweep into a dustpan then bag. Good luck.
I see most are using this product on cement floors, is it suitable to use on wood? It’s not hardwood, it’s a pine and it has no finish on it.
This video was very helpful but the music is crazy-making.
lol
