When I heard the news of Mr. Ngema's passing this morning, the song that kept playing in my mind is this one. RIP Sir and thank you for your contribution.
I am not a South African but every time I am listening to these music, it bring tears to my eyes thinking how hard those leaders (Former President Nelson Mandela and his comrades fought and pay with their freedom to have that country independent that is being taken by granted today by corrupt and greedy new generation.
@@tanelenselendvuna8402 I won’t say he did or he didn’t but even if he does then what’s are we doing about that as abantu abansundu because still we are not empowering each other.
Been glued to Dr Mbongeni Ngema's music ever since I was first exposed to it by my father in 2010, when I was only in grade 3. I am 22 years now, pursuing a degree in varsity, and it is still relevence, what a wonderful exposure ❤❤💯💯💥💥
One of my favorite song 🎧 as an Expat 💕🌎🇿🇦🇰🇷 I miss home so much and cry 😢 to this song ❤️🇿🇦✨there’s no place like home 🏠 🇿🇦✨the beauty of understanding the song word for word is priceless 🥰🎧💕
Rest in Eternal Peace...our Brother Mbongeni Ngema. What a creative genius, one of Mzansi's Best. You left us a rich legacy. Uphum'le ngo Xolo. Siyabulela kakhulu 💐
I reunited with this song after watching Sarafina as a young girl and love it all over again. Replay all night 🌙 long. It is very moving and great music moves me no matter what genre.
This is the beginning of a new chapter, a decade of opportunities and possibilities for the youth, "Financial Market" is our key , this is the generation that will pay the debt of AFRICA to the IMF, This is the moment of stabilizing our economy. #Amandla☝☝☝
The song is about the return of the land, the land that was taken from Natives by Europeans. 'The land shall return, this nation shall return' - 'We celebrate the freedom' - it goes on to talk about Malan and other former apartheid president running away (Former president and implementer of Apartheid) and our Freedom fighters dancing and celebrating their freedom.
