- Опубліковано 1 лют 2025
- Hello! In this video I run through 55 practice questions for the CompTIA Network+ N10-008 certification exam. I review the answers immediately after reading the question and try to give a brief explanation for each answer. I am currently doing this because I am going to take the Network+ certification exam soon, but I didn't want to stop making videos! I hope this can be helpful to anyone out there who may be studying along! Please leave a comment if you would like to see me do some more study material from the CompTIA platform. Also, please like and subscribe if you enjoy the video! Thank you for watching!
what happened between 56-76? We lost all that question
ask him oooo
ask him!
i was like whaaaaaaaaat?
I did some scrolling and he can't remember why he cut them out. Answer to 57 was A though

I vaguely remember... There was a bunch of port based questions in a row.. I wonder if that was them.. If it was those, my thought process was that it wasn't as helpful/interesting to answer rote memorized questions. Sorry guys, mystery remains
On my part l alredy past Network+ and Security+ thank you@@vincenthumble
Gearing up for my Network+ Exam and I really enjoyed this. I found myself pausing, selecting my own answer, and then seeing what you selected. I am at question 51, gotta get back to it! :)
As a "newbie" into technology, currently working my way through school, this is extremely helpful!!
As someone who is new in the tech industry. This video is so helpful
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I was genuinely trying to focus, but your relaxed demeanor kept making me burst into laughter.
Automatic Pick IP Address APIP🤣🤣🤣
21:18 Question 90: The reason why it's not D is because IPv6 addresses can't have two sets of double colons (::). Double colons indicate all 0's as a way to shorten addresses. Ex:
2031:0000:130F:0000:0000:9C00:876A:130B --> 2031::130F:0:0:9C:876A:130B or 2031:0:130F::9C:876A:130B
2031::130F::9C:876A:130B wouldn't work because you wouldn't be able to differentiate between 2031:0000:0000:130F:0000:9C00:876A:130B & 2031:0000:130F:0000:0000:9C00:876A:130B
Will be going for my Net+ cert before the end of the year. Glad I stumbled onto your vids. Super helpful and I appreciate you talking through your thought process. Liked and Subbed!
Thanks Taylor!
my answer to question 96 is a 'local area network' your content is awesome man. im write my exam 26 Sep.
This has been the best practice exam so far 😄
Question 97 - "I have no idea what I just read"
Me on the first question of actual exam - "I have no idea what I just read"
Thank you very much for posting these, Vincent. I enjoy your laid back style!
For question 90: I could be wrong, but I think it was supposed to be answer A and the typo he made was putting the 6 at the end of the address. I say that because answer D uses the double colon "::" compression twice, and I believe you can only do that once or not at all in an IPv6 address. Either way, mistakes were made in the making of that question hahaha.
i totally agree with your statement my friend
You're completely correct. Max 1 double colon compression per adress.
I agree, they also could have been going for a) 2031:0:130F::9C0:876A:130B%6 to show an interface reference number on the end of the address, but a formatting/copy-paste/font issue hid or lost the % symbol
I would like to see you do more of these practice questions that you mentioned in the vid :)
Alright! You got it!
What happened at 11:35? you skipped like 20 questions.
I don't mind it too much, I understand the video would've been too long, but can you at least please let me know the answer for question number 57.
I cannot remember why I cut all that out. It may have been a bunch of port number questions which are not very thought provoking. The answer to that question, I believe, would have been A. Tracert would ping each node between the source and destination and provide latency information which would help pinpoint where the traffic was getting congested.
I was gonna ask this too 😂 I was like whoa we’re on 78 now? Haha
I had fun watching this, Thank you for the content
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Vincent! Keep the great work!
Thank you Abdou! I passed my Network+ yesterday!
@@vincenthumble Congratulations! How was the exam?
@@abdouett3676 It was easier than I though it would be :)
Q95. The Layer 2 Switch Router answer confused me. ..I'm pretty sure it's a Layer 3 Switch that combines features of both switches and routers...
I can't believe you skipped 96? HOW WILL PEOPLE KNOW IT STANDS FOR LOCAL AREA NETWORK?!
You're a legendary access node for that one!
Taking my test in 2 1/2 hours. Figured I would squeeze in a little more studying before.
I passed! Thanks for the videos. They were very helpful.
Congratulations! Feelsgoodman
@@nebenni What other materials did you use? is this enough?
LAN: Laser-guided Avocado Ninjas.
That's correct right?
Top marks Mr Hamilton
Great Video. Did you do the comptia sites practice test as well?
Yes, I did do them, but I did not make it into a video. I do have two videos of practice questions from the CompTIA learning service that you can find on my channel. Thanks for watching! 😁
Thank you
question 95 is weird, there is no such a thing as layer 2 switch rounter, a 2 in 1 device such as switch that can also function as a router is called layer 3 switch, not layer 2.
yup. i thought that question is some pure shit.they shouldn't be allowed to use broken English on a test
Love the vid, but confused me jumping from question 56 to 78
Thanks for watching! TBH, I can't remember why I did that lol, it may have been the chunk of port number questions that I just had memorized rote.
21:46 I think it should be dual stack because 6to4 tunneling is very limited
i hate the field work questions because as a field tech my first instinct is always wrong on these exams, because they are not written by field techs. The correct answer is reality is B. A large portion of issues are user errors. I'm not just going to assume the error is with the system before the user, Step one I am checking the print setting and sending a print job to rule out user error before diving into the netwroking
For the record.... 96 LAN should definitely be Legendary Access Node .... But we all know that's not really the case .
LOCAL AREA NETWORK For LAN! Light work 🏋
Thanks man
Thank YOU!
24:48 thats a bullshit question, I had no idea what nonrepudation is. I googled it and saw it's only an objective for sec+
I hope the Network + is as easy as this practice test.
Unfortunately, it is not.
18:01 bruh dont lie u saw that tip of the "A" lmao
thanks man
Yes , CompTIA test online
fwiw on 90, D is the most incorrect because it has 2 sets of ::, only 1 is allowed per address. (you can eliminate sets like AAAA:0000:0000:0DFA to AAAA::DFA, but only once, so AAAA:0000:0000:AAAA:0000:0000:AAAA:000A is AAAA:0:0:AAAA::AAAA:A or AAAA::AAAA:0:0:AAAA:A, but never AAAA::AAAA::AAAA:A)
Q98. You were robbed. It should have been A. netstat and D. ipconfig, as you stated. Dig, like NSlookup is primarily used for DNS related queries.
Question 96 , Answer, is A...👊
96: Local Area Network :)
what happened to questions 57-77?
Eh... my editor is a clutz
96= is da Local Area Network aka MC LAN! ;-)
I was happy until minute 11:35😅
😅😅 I honestly can't remember why I did that. I think there were a lot of port number questions but I also made an editing mistake.
@@vincenthumble it's fine, thank you for those tutorials, tomorrow is my exam
The acronyms will be the end of me.
Do a test from Comptia
LOL I did do a lot of their practice questions and PBQs in other videos ;)
whats up with question 79 smh
Local Area Network after Q97
Please share us more
I have plans to make a comprehensive series for A+ Net+ and Sec+ but it's going to be a while 🫠 thanks for watching!

forgot to say thank you.

Haha! You are correct. Those wondering about context for this comment did not watch the whole video 😝
Local Area Network
loool there is no correct answer in questions 90 :D none of those addresses are valid
Whoever wrote this exam needs a new job
Local Area Netwerk
*belch*
please stop burping, its the only thing that sometimes made me stop watching. The rest is nice and good thanks.
lol, your indian voice is horrible, but made me chuckle
Start drinking regular coke!
I have since changed my ways and stopped trying to pretend to be healthy
