Rift In BJP Uttar Pradesh After Tussle Between Sanjeev Balyan and Sangeet Som

In western Uttar Pradesh, a significant rift within the BJP continues to unfold between Sanjeev Balyan and Sangeet Som.
The tension, which has been simmering since before the Lok Sabha elections, has now intensified following Balyan's defeat to Samajwadi Party candidate Harendra Malik in the Muzaffarnagar parliamentary constituency.
There also have been efforts by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to mediate peace between the two leaders, including a meeting in Muzaffarnagar after an election rally, which has reportedly failed.
