- 18 months ago, we moved 8 hours away to a small little country town for a slower paced life... Little did we know that life we would end up moving faster than EVER! 😴
Today we are going be spending the day picking up the pieces after a busy weekend that ended with the Super Bowl. I actually let myself sit on the couch and enjoy the game, watch USHER, and eat some Super Bowl appetizers with the family. I have been working so hard on McKenzie's room and it seems like road block after road block keep popping up. I desperately needed the downtime. But don't worry, the massive mess was there waiting for me the next day...

Glad you were able to get it done im sure it felt good! My husband made some shelves for our shoes so I have one by the front door, side door(garage) and then there's one in my closet🤣🤣. So basically there should be NO shoes on the floor cause there's places everywhere LOL. It used to annoy my step-dad with all the shoes in the garage right by the door cause we would take them off before we came in...however we wouldn't return them if we wore another pair...so when you walked in that door to the right was laundry room, to the left was door to basement...when he decided there were too many shoes there he would take them and toss them downstairs. It was a little something he liked to call "shoe check."🤣🤣🤣

Right now my kitchen is a mess. I made a good dinner. And a huge mess. I’m not sure if it will get cleaned up tonight. I’m just too tired. I cleaned my bathroom and bedroom tonight. When I wasn’t watching tv. I don’t wear my shoes in the house. I always wear slippers. I have a big crock by the back door. And it’s full of my shoes and an extension cord. That’s for chargers that aren’t long enough. My grandkids never bring chargers here. One of my granddaughters took my long charger home. So I only have short ones now.
