A message for Emily. Welcome to the wonderful wacky world of muskie fishing. I taught my wife to fish. She'd never touched a fishing rod until she met me. Her biggest muskie was 49 inches. So she went from a beginner to being a good fisherwoman. You can do it too. I think Ben will be a good teacher. I've watched him since he started with youtube and Ben knows muskie fishing. Don't get frustrated. Muskie fishing can be tough but the rewards do come. It's ok to take breaks, eat snacks, watch the wildlife. My wife brought treats for the critters. She'd feed chipmunks, squirrels, ducks, and raccoon's. These things too are a part of muskie fishing and being outdoors. It's not always about catching fish... just usually. lol Also, remember this, sometimes the fish win the battle. It's part of the game. Don't get to disappointed when it happens. The happiest moments of our lives together were spent in a boat, fishing. I lost her to brain cancer in 04. I miss fishing with her more than I can say. @Ben, if you see her getting bored not catching muskies take her walleye, bass, or panfishing, so she can have some fun catching fish. Then go back to the muskies.
Thank you for the very sweet and thoughtful comment, both Emily and I read it together and it was very touching! We both look forward to spending more time together on the water and hopefully we will continue to share our journey! We are very sorry for your loss, but we both really appreciate such a thoughtful comment. Thank you!
@@kanalgratisdotcom I just wanted to encourage Emily to keep at it. I'm happy to see young couples sharing a boat and fishing together. I hope to see her fishing next year too. Anyhow, you're welcome. Thanks for your sympathy.
P.S. @Ben: Dude, if you're smart you'll let her catch the biggest fish. She'll always want to go fishing with you again. That's what I did and it worked like a charm. (hehehe - wicked grin)
Nice video Ben! Thanks for adding my clip. One of these days we should hop in the boat together.
Thanks man! I’d love that!!! Can’t wait for next year

If you two make a baby it’s going to be one big nose.
Her nose was bigger than that poor little muskie they caught,
