The Baojun Yep Plus emerges as a compact SUV, boasting a 4-door configuration and accommodating up to four passengers. Its boxy profile lends it a distinctive appearance, complemented by a laden ground clearance of 150 mm and a turning radius of 5.35 m. Anticipated to debut in the Chinese market during the initial quarter of 2024, the Yep Plus promises versatility and practicality for urban drivers.
The 2024 Baojun Yep Plus measures 3,996 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, and 1,726 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 2,560 mm. It balances agility and robustness with a curb weight of 1,325 kg and a gross weight of 1,650 kg. Notably, it offers an approach angle of 22 degrees and a departure angle of 32 degrees, coupled with front and rear overhangs of 723 mm and 713 mm, respectively. The front and rear track widths measure 1,515 mm and 1,520 mm, enhancing stability and handling.
Powering the Yep Plus is a permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering a maximum power of 75 kW and a maximum torque of 180 Nm. Its 41.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery affords an impressive range of 401 km on a single charge. Charging capabilities include support for both fast and slow charging, with the ability to achieve a 30-80% charge in just 35 minutes. With a top speed of 150 km/h, the Yep Plus offers a blend of performance and efficiency, further augmented by driving modes including Economy+, economy, standard, and sports.
