Also heard it on the radio at john peels music in 83' here in germany. The love for this band stayed forever.
John Peel we love you. Sob.
A coworker at my first job I ever made a tape for me and thought I’d enjoy it. Dear Heart was the first song on it. Followed by side A of Garlands. Then Hazel. So intense this earlier stuff. I wish I could find the coworker to thank him for that cassette again.
This has so many magical moments. Thank you.
How Can You Not Love This ❤️🙏
Too right, some of the greatest indie tunes ever written in those first few years from the Cocteaus

The world looks so much better because of John Peel and Cocteau Twins too. It's a kind of far a way romanticism this band. The longing for...
it really was a different world back then, and how i wish i could go back and stay there forever

My favourite is the Hollow Men

Blind Dumb and Deaf is tasty
Take it this is from my digitisation of the Kev H (of Flux fame) tape? I also taped this on its first repeat in February 1983 in Glorious mono
That's the best audio copy of Peel's links that I've found as yet
