After owning one for a while now, can I ask about pros and cons? I love these and looking at the Essence ST and drive an hour to work, all highway, so I wonder about the steering being a little light. If you've had it on the highway often, how does it handle?
@@PatrickJTezak Hi Patrick, I've driven a loaner Envision on the highway for about 2,000 miles and can say it's excellent. Handling, ride quality and noise level are great at higher speeds. Steering feels much better on the highway too.

This car is not much changed from 2020. New sheetmetal slightly more aggressive. The interior is very close to the older one. The powertrain is identical to 2020 which was updated in 2017, except the four cylinder was detuned by about 20 hp. The gearshift was changed for buttons. The twin clutch transmission has been around since the car started, first with a six speed, now a 9 speed as of 2017. The selecting AWD is new. I prefer to call this a modestly updated SUV. For all new it really has a lot of technology it has had for a few years now. The removal of Adaptive Cruse Control except for Avenir trim is a mistake. The trunk can be restricted to open 3/4s of the way, good for low garages.
The gv80 saved his life or caused his accident? Too early to tell! There could be a problem with the smart cruise control, the brakes or traction control.
I much rather take driving in powdery fluffy snow from the Rockies than driving in wet heavy snow like Seattle. Because we have no snow clearing equipment, except on heavy trafficked arterials. Also, the weather conditions tend to lay down a layer ice under the snow on the pavement. Also, steep hills. Nasty stuff. I've helped plenty of cocky midwesterners out of ditches. It's different here.

Yeah, except for the rest of the “U.S.” population that doesn’t care for the feature.
You are right ✅️ 😌 g.m is so stingy 😒
I wish it was plug in hybrid
We had a 2016 Envision and then Regal TourX. Now have Cadillac CT6 2.0E plug-in.
It looks like a CX-5 lol
This Envision will definitely not fit in some garages ....
reminds me of a volkswagon
Tiger woods wouldn’t have hurt his leg in a TriShield
your right, he would have died in it.
It was mentioned the gv80 saved his life
The gv80 saved his life or caused his accident? Too early to tell! There could be a problem with the smart cruise control, the brakes or traction control.
@@ejohnson3131 it would be pretty dumb to use smart cruise control on winding roads
@@PresidentJackBauer It would be pretty dumb to end up at the bottom of a hill without rain or snow, but look what happened!
Just because its built in China I have little interest in this car. Too bad because it does look nice.
another hunk o junk from GM
Yes it looks good when it’s covered in snow and you cannot see it
American brand but MADE IN CHINA. this is a new car that I would be embarrassed to be seen in.
Until you drive it and shop the $26K competition...
Were you embarrassed when typed this comment on your made in China phone or laptop or computer keyboard?

Are you embarrassed when you buy cheap Chinese crap at Walmart or Home Depot?
Kia and Hyndai are laughing at this!
It's very clear that people in Seattle have no idea how to handle snow. A foot? Big deal! Come to the Rocky Mountains for a winter.
I much rather take driving in powdery fluffy snow from the Rockies than driving in wet heavy snow like Seattle. It’s so wet and heavy that it’ll make you hydroplane then slide around until you crash or it will freeze over night creating black ice and making your morning commute really fun! I’ve driven in both places.
Seattle is full of VERY steep hills. Come on out and show everyone how to drive up and down those hills Stanley. Don’t forget your chains.
@@DrivenCarReviews You are a sad excuse for a human being. This is a Chinese vehicle. Say it and denounce it you traitor.
This guy is paid by Chinese. Don't pay his reviews any attention
