-Maybe Lebanese State Appears
-Split of Yugoslavia into South Communist and North Monarchist
-Dutch exploration of Asia and maybe it starts trading with Japan; or it could settle the Dutch India Company.
-Australia appears and tries to find New Zealand but its island is missing. Then it searches for Papua New Guinea.

That's why they attack and destroy the German Reich and found the old Germany.
France, ... build up the old Germany and that in turn supports them and also they find an antidote to the zombies.

Talking about what will happen after Afoe Apicalypse maybe you can make a new series about Alternate World/Planet that you have freedom what to do but you need study about prehistory/early civs.
Its should also start with new civs and old tech and from there you can do what you want(with some realisticness but accuracy isnt really required.
