I'll never forget the first time I booted up the RSI Launcher and started to install the game - this was the very first song that played. I knew I was in for something epic. 3 years later, I can say I was right.
First time we citizens heard it was in a CIG promo video called Big Guns of the UEE. Great video if you haven't seen it.

this track is amazing, love it, actually I've even installed the RSI launcher on my office computer, not to game, just to listen to the music while working, this kind of music helps me to focus. They're all good, but this one has to be my favorite.

Holy fuck this music on its own I really good. The thing making it ludicrously good is that it comes from a game about you being among the stars and that gets you thinking about that and see how perfectly the music fits.

Sometimes I imagine star citizen of a project to save humanity-a universe where we can fix what we messed up here. This music is a fitting track for that thought.
Go out in real world and try to fix something here not in a place where no real effort is required. If everyone had same approach to our world we would be in trouble, oh wait, we are. Escapism is sickness. Enjoy games, don't escape into them.
Except for the fact we are so minute we haven't messed up anything to begin with..........
I think this is more of a song about exploring the unknowns, like the first planet, or going throw a nebulae of some sorts
star citizen is not a utopia, its portraying a scifi driven could-be picture of mankind in the far future, so theres both sides of the coin: progress, expansion, prosperity, but with that comes crime, catastrophies, war and so on
Expecting to be a space faring civilization when people cant even reach university degree... plenty of work. And yes we are constantly getting fucked by stupidity and that is why it takes time to progress... just imagine a 200 IQ society. Oh wait, thats ufo conspiracy...

My favorite song among thousands of songs I've head.
100% 10/10 best sound track while floating in space, makes me wana smile
I finally realized the brilliance of this painting: the ship is alive. It's the partner of the the bounty hunter/mercenary/cop who took down the bad guy, lower right. If the image was put to words, (as I interpret it) it's would be heard saying something like _"Take care of it, - I've got your back."_ Brilliant piece of art equally as magnificent as the music set to it, and the game it is based on.
The best part is, that ship is actually flyable in the, admittedly limited, current version of the game. And in the right hands, is a fantastic one at that.

If the full soundtrack for Squad42 & SC is as good as this track. I would buy a vinyl album in a heartbeat ! Maybe a future partnership with "Iam8bit" ;) ? They do great vinyls for some games (Warframe, Uncharted saga, SoCollossus, etc...).

The voice and instruments go together sooo sooo well inspiring that feeling of awe and exploration filled with thrills and excitement. That stretched horn sound is also super satisfying. Just the right amount of loudness and subtilty. Such a flawless track.
The music is not composed by chiffmonkey, it is composed by Pedro Camacho who also has a UA-cam channel. chiffmonkey is a good boi for extracting the music files from the game files, sorting them into playlists and naming them etc, but he is in no way involved in the making of the music.

Unfortunately many of the Star Citizen OSTs are taken from trailers on the main channel or from in-game files, there are no official versions published on other platforms yet. The official OSTs will be released when Squadron 42 or Star Citizen comes out.
