No Sorry ... you can get a cover for it if it is a bit tatty - I have seen quite a few on ebay that you popper on over the original or some good old fashioned gaffa tape wrapped around it
Hi great to watch your video . I have got hold of some technics RP F350 headphones which don’t have any sound coming from them . I would love to recycle them and resurrect them I think this would be very satisfying rather than throw them away. . I am not electronically sophisticated but could manage simple things . Could you possibly advise on the most likely fault and how I would open them up as I can’t see any screws on the earpieces. Thank s
Hi - it is probably a break in the cable. Unfortunately I have not worked on any of those but almost all headphones of that era have screws hidden somewhere under the pads - they may be under a sticker or some foam or something - have a probe around with the tip of the screwdriver to see if you can feel any concealed screw
@@CustomCans hi I got the ear phone covers off and no loose wires , they just clipped off there no screws , so could it be the jack plug connection where there might be a break , thanks
@@Modena5435 yes it could be a break inside the cable or a bent jack. If you have a multimeter you could test that the drivers are working and test the wires in the cable
HAIR WORK..CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE VIDEO TOO...BUT HOW MANY DEGREES SHOULD THE SOLDERING IRON BE AT? BECAUSE I LOST A PHONE LIKE THIS. BECAUSE THE WIRE MELTED WITH THE SOLDER
Congrats and thanks for the video. on mine, it seems the crossover cord needs to be replaced (no continuity between two “no color” wire ends). Looks complicated to do. By checking the disassembling on the service manual. Did you ever try ? Do you think it does worth ?
The headband cable would be really hard to replace. Not impossible but would take a couple of hours and a steady hand. If may be worth seeing if you can buy a replacement headband for a sensible price as that would be much easier to change
Hello.. Fabulous video.. Which beyerdynamic cable should I buy? I think I can tackle this my self as I have a soldiering iron.. I can see a few versions of there cables and would like to get the correct width for my RPDJ1200. Many thanks AND KEEP THE GOOD VIDEOS COMING!
hi my right side works perfect but the lift side comes in and out as i extend or retract the or even just more around the lift side stops working then comes back in what do you think i need to do to fix?
I'm not an advance handyman to fix all that but is there a replacement for the dj1200 cord that I can order or is there another cord that can be compatible because I can't find it anywhere 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ (I only need the cord) I see other cords that looks like the dj1200 cord but I don't want to order the wrong thing.... PLEASE HELP!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@gustavooliveira5900!!!!!!!!!!! ;) yes we keep them in stock. They are normally shipped within 24hrs and are shipped from the uk. If you are in a hurry, you may be better off buying something in your country. Pretty much any single sided headphone cable could be fitted.
do you have a video how to replace the headband cushion?

It depends on the wire and the type of solder you are using - probably start at 300c and go up from there until you can get a good solder joint.
