Great tip! My dad and I recently measured the elevation drop from a spring to our cabin with improvised tools. We stapled an old measuring tape to a 7 foot long 1"x2" board then used a string with a line level to work in downhill increments in the same manner that you progressed in uphill increments. It worked great but it was a little slower than your method. Thanks for sharing!
Considering hiring a pro driller in the GA/SC CSRA . What questions should I ask, and what answers should I receive to make an informed decision as-to who to give the job to? A neighbor has a deep well, so it's not going to be a DIY job. Thanks.
I don't think the CST variant is still being made but there's a David White version that looks identical (David White D620 Sighting Hand Level) - I realize original request is 11 yrs old LOL, posting for others with the same question.
Well you did ok, But the little guy did a great job, How much did you pay him ~~ Had to give him a $20.00 ~~ With out him thumbs down with him 5 thumbs up !!!!!!!!!
