I never put any figures in my lunch box to take to school, but I did take a Power of the Force 2 Boba Fett in my pocket to school everyday...💁‍♂️

@@kingslowbrafas292 I was born at the end of October in 1986...🎂 I had a plastic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lunch box for first grade...🐢 But I didn't really take my lunch to school much, I just pretty much ate the school lunch always, and my favorite lunch was the mashed potatoes with chicken and noodles, the pig in a blanket, the pizza, also chicken patty day...🧒 I have no complaints about the 90's because the way I see it that is the last great generation where kids were actually kids, and I'm proud of that...👌🏼 We actually got out and did stuff in the outside world and rode our bikes...🚲 (*without helmets) We also had great toys and action figures as well, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Terminator, RoboCop, Street Fighter G.I. Joe style action figures, And just soooooo many great things...💯✔ Also I went to rummage sales and would get plenty of 80's toys such as Masters of the Universe figures and original Star Wars figures, so things was halfway decent...💁‍♂️

I think you have the best one, Junkman. (I always bought the school's lunches, so I didn't carry a lunchbox.) But as a Star Wars collector, I have been wanting to get that Empire one, like yours. I saw one at a collectible shop recently, but it was a bit too expensive, so I will bide my time.

I had that Empire Strikes Back lunchbox as a kid. I also took figures to school to play with during recess. I always put them in baggies tied shut so that they didn't get dirty.
Looks like the Canadian lunchboxes open up vertically and would have a lot of space inside.
That Japanese one is cool. They are into 'bento boxes' over there so that one looks a bit like a bento box.
I didn't have the other ones. I loved all the movies, but ESB was my favorite and still is. Most of my action figures and vehicles are from ESB as well.
Luke is probably meditating and trying to work with the Force on the box. It's a great painting.
The dent under the handle is to help keep the handle from getting stuck down.
I loved those thermoses! They really kept things hot or cold. The straw leaked a little if you shook it around too much but it was still cool.
Took a lunchbox to school from kindergarten right up through college. None of our public schools in my county had hot lunch programs. They did in college, but they weren't very good so I still used lunchboxes. Although by high school, I had a big appetite, so I took a little playmate box instead of these cool Thermos ones.
I had ESB, Muppet Show's Pigs in Space and Dukes of Hazard as a kid.
I'm afraid that my metal lunchboxes are all gone now. My mom tossed them out because of how dented and scratched up they were by the time I was in high school.

I love that Empire Strikes Back lunchbox. It's beautiful. I like how they got pretty much everyone and every scene on there.
The snowspeeders look odd though. Everything else is accurate. Could that be an early concept art version?
Luke's eyes are closed because he's using the Force. Come on, Junkman. :P You can see his arm out making the motion.
On that other on Han has his Bespin outfit on on Hoth lol. How did they manage to mess up that publicity photo? It's kind of a cheesy one anyway with them all pointing their guns towards the camera like that too.
Man the plastic lunchboxes sure are ugly compared to the metal ones! Loser lunchboxes is right! :D
I don't remember having any Star Wars lunch boxes. Definitely something I wouldn't forget. Too young for the originals anyway. Not sure if they made any in the 90s when the Special Editions and Power of the Force came out, when Star Wars was revving back up.
If I had to pick I'd love to take that Empire one you have to school!

Oh man....2nd grade...Proudly carried my EMPIRE STRIKES BACK lunchbox (like the one in your video) to school everyday. Carried my Bespin Luke in my lunchbox for two weeks after my birthday. Lunchbox highlights were: Peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich....lime kool-aid...fritos and hostess cupcake for dessert.....Those were the days! Wish I still had mine! The dent was to hold the thermos in place.

Those would be great for SW vehicles. I love the first two.
I NEED all 3 metal lunchboxes!
I saw a SW lunchbox at an antique mall for cheap, but for some reason I never made a move on it.
I view them as another version of a figure case.
Anything cool to put my figures in. :)
I like the blue metal 'Empire' lunchbox the best, I really like the artwork on it.

Unfortunately for grades 1st through 3rd I had a vinyl lunchbox so I guess I was a super loser. If your wondering what I mean by a vinyl lunchbox. It was made like the old matchbox car carrying cases. Heavy card stock covered with a nearly Indestructible vinyl material. I carried that thing for 3 school years. My parents finally had mercy on me and let me pick out a metal lunchbox for 4th grade. It was a Wild Frontier metal lunchbox with a built in spinner game on the back. I was the cool kid until the spinner broke off about mid way through my 5th grade year. By then I was ready to just move on to the paper bags like the middle school kids.

I still have my original Jedi lunchbox (with my name and grade still on it. Thanks mom). I picked up the mini repros they did last decade. I love these things. The artwork is the highlight for me. I take it you don't like plastic, but I do have a Galoob 1988 Star Trek: The Next Generation lunchbox w/thermos. It's the only one I'm aware of. Great video as always Junkman. Have a good one.
