As a person who was born and raised on a dairy farm in Australia 🇦🇺 it was great to see how they do things in my wife's country, you have done a great job in promoting this.
Kumander, one of my late dad's uncles was a dairy farmer in the Upper Hunter Valley in New South Wales Australia. I remember we visited his farm often when I was very young. At five years old I almost got run over by rail cart carrying heavy milk containers. Like the cows there in Laguna, his cows were also black and white Friesians. I remember that my "Uncle Wal" as we called him was a veteran of both the North Africa campaign and the Kokoda Track in World War Two. His wife, "Auntie Bess" made the best ice cream I have ever tasted! Chef Pablo's food made me really really hungry!
@@KumanderDaot Big enough to carry the morning's lot of full milk containers, which were quite heavy and made of metal. The cart ran down a rail from the dairy shed to the front gate of the farm and stopped there. It was certainly heavy enough to have caused me a lot of damage. I don't remember exactly whether I avoided it myself, or whether maybe my dad pulled me out of the way. Dad's uncle was Wallace Standen. His farm was near Gloucester in the Upper Hunter Valley. I understand the Standen family emigrated to Australia in 1839 from Sussex, and held land in the Gloucester area for many generations. There is still a road there called "Standen's Lane". Auntie Bess' ice cream was just plain ice cream, but it was so good!
Thanks, Kumander Daot, for this informative vid. Will surely switch to Carmen's Ice Cream. So amused knowing about its production...fantastic. Looking forward more of your new finds and farm tours.
KD, I must tell you that your vlogs are getting better and better each new vlogs. When you're featuring something, you feature it with professionalism. As I said before I like the way you narrate it kind of like National Geographic documentary. You're vlogs have good contents.
That dairy operation was first class and could easily hold its own back in the west, especially with its vision. How interesting about your friend as I have been researching the Korean War and the Philippine President at the time gave a powerful speech for his newly formed country and I could have just been watching his grandson here. I am approving your appication and use of narration, as it does aid the overall video and is not overwhelming it, personally for me, your occasional observations about stuff from your perspective is interesting as this is all still your adventures. Good job!
I never knew there's a local, small business ice cream in the Philippines. Definitely need to visit their shop at Rockwell. Thank you for great info and tour of the cows and manufacturing ice cream!
KD your such a legend, dining Basque cuisine prepared by Basque chef with the former Presidents grandson eating the finest ice cream in the Philippines. I wanna be like you when I grow up!
I remember when President Ramon Magsaysay died in a plane crash. The whole country mourned. He was much loved by the people. Crowds lined the streets of Manila to bid him farewell. My father carried me on his shoulder.
Wow, very humble family. Pres. Ramon Magsaysay was one of the greatest Phil. Pres. Will try to visit that spanish resto and can't wait to try carmen's ice cream! Thanks for this vlog KD!

Kumander Daot! You can never go wrong with food or music as "content" for your vlogs. Guaranteed to increase viewership in the Philippines and around the world. We enjoy your approach to your vlogs with "humor" that you inject into them. Great job. Keep 'em up.
One of the best ice cream in the Philippines and the spanish foods looks good. I love angulas, paella negra, pulpo gallego and the pescado a la Vazca. Interesting and entertaining vlog too. Thanks
Kumander, you are doing an awesome job with these documentary type vlogs. I am super impressed at how professional they are. My wife and I will hopefully be able to come back this fall and it would be great to meet you sometime. Keep up the great work!
Fantastic learning video...made for all people to view... I grew up on a 300 acre, 150 milking head farm, I know that its plenty of work and i appreciate their work.... Super awesome compilation... Of course there are studies regarding pros and cons of cows milk. Like skin problems for example: acne and others. Many are intolerant gastrically speaking. I stopped drinking cows milk about 17 years of age and i am glad i did. I have no problems with cottage cheese now and then.. I believe anything in moderation is acceptable to the body, and the more organic the better...
G'day, living here in Australia, by watching this vlog is a great joy in my heart. My mouth is watering all the foods serving in that restaurants. Goodluck KD for your vlogging adventure, the best...greetings from Ozzy world.

What a fantastic video the tour of the dairy farm was so good the owner really did you proud and gave you an amazing show with bags of info on how everything is made .
You have show us that Carmen brand ice cream is the best in the Philippines, your chubby finger is the favorite of the young cow. The Spanish food you enjoyed looks very enticing. This vlog is educational and there is Spanish food you enjoy outside Manila. On your return trip to Manila, bring the whole family along and let them enjoy what you have tried. Be safe.
Fabulous Vlog KD! More of the same please. Best wishes from Scotland. Can’t wait to go home to Phils now to taste all the fantastic food you have featured!
So good. Many Filipino children have no idea about cows. This video should be used in school!! Great job Anselm! Hey - all you Americans… support Kumander thru Patreon!! We do! Help with his expenses 💵✌️❤️
Kumander Daog, you're really a winner. Documentation of how a local dairy farm processes the best tasting ice cream in the land and exchanging views with the owner a grandson of no other than the former and beloved Philippine president, Ramon Magsaysay. Kudos, stay safe and healthy. God bless.
I started watching you in Kulas' videos as a random guy making everyone laugh and spreading good vibes. Look at where you are now! Keep it up! God bless! I would love to have Carmen's Ice Cream when I come home.

Can’t wait to try that ice- cream! Video brought memories of growing up in a cattle(beef) and coconut plantation in Davao. Fresh dairy was not available at that time. Milk came as powdered ( great ingredient for polvoron) or canned. At times, we were lucky when someone gave my father fresh cheese wrapped in banana leaves made from carabao milk. Remembered my visit to the first dairy in Davao called SODACO. Don’t know it’s still there. It was fascinating to watch mechanized milking of the cow. Food in that Basque restaurant looks amazing! Thanks for sharing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep doing what you’re doing. Wonder what percentage of the Filipino population are lactose intolerant.
Kumander Daot, this is another good discovery, you have done a wonderful job again. You are getting better and better, getting very serious about this new found job. I am learning so much about my country because of you. Very well done! Thanks! 👍
