That was one of the most effortless charged creeper head extractions I've ever seen
genuinely so impressive in early hardcore lol
I gotta say, I was taken aback for a second by the simple designs you have for your builds, it took some getting used to after seeing all these crazy complex builds in hardcore.
But then, you made the temple and it looked really good, and then you made the gatehouse and it really looked amazing, and it was when you said you're gonna work on the vineyard now that I was like "Wait, YOU'RE STILL BUILDING?" you can get a LOT more done in one episode and it feels really satisfying. Keep it up I love the series!
thanks man! im not the biggest fan of the current/past meta of hardcore series.. episode 1 and they already have a mega build and full diamond armor! it just doesnt feel like minecraft!
you should add floating candles in the temple
i think a nice little library for enchanting would be super sweet. this world is turning out super cool and i cant wait to see how the world evolves in the next episode!
Root cellar would go hard with the vineyard , maybe even some builds on the mountain like around the portal or by the iron farm.
Love the Etho style book and quill with the comments for the series. Make sure you add the fishing hut comment too Barce!

The vineyard adds so much to the whole setting! Don't worry too much about the episode length imo, always feels like you cram a lot into each one
BABE WAKE UP BARCE POSTED!!!! For the nether portal temple’s floor you should utilise the glass ‘fog’ effect it’ll look cool and spawn proof it :)

Great video! and love your build! i think that a gatehouse without a wall is kinda pointless? maybe to keep the feel of an old village and ruins you could place rubble of an ancient wall dividing the vineyard in two sections... the new "owners" of the village did not need anymore the wall so they put the vineyard instead
for environmental reasons and not actual use i think it'd be cool for there to be an abandoned cabin in the snowy part of the mountains
havent watched the full video yet but i have two suggestions :
1) Add a chain hanging from the bottom of that chiselled tuff at the entrance of the nether portal with some pebbles (stone buttons , pressure plates , etc) at the ground below to make it seem that something has fallen that was once hanging. If not that , a low hanging soul lantern can look good too.
2) Make subtle changes to your mine entrance , and well , the whole mine as you expand it , to make it the same kind of style as the nether portal. Some sorta tuff temple and a bit of dwarfism.
also , that rooted dirt the enderman stole. Why not just remove it and put a fence there , like a little window giving a hint that there may be some underground thing going. Maybe someone's basement. But the entrance is unknown. i think it adds dynamic-ness to the world and the village. Here btw , 9:55
i think a nice vineyard storefront/cabin/house/…storehouse? way up on the hill would look so good, just to tie in the village to a bit in the build :)

Would u ever consider making a foggy floor in the nether portal temple?? I think it would look super cool and still fit the spooky theme but also mob proof the void below. It’s done w layers of coloured glass
you should try out the stay true resource pack, it's got a bunch of little features that you might like as a builder (bushy leaves!) and btw the cypress trees really bring the vinyard together!

yeah i found it on pinterest! i attempted to give credit, but it was posted anonymously and i couldnt find the original creator. i still should've mentioned that at least.
proud to say I’ve been here since ep 1 👌 you should add some fields of crops on the other side of the gatehouse, I’ve seen people do rolling fields of wheat and it would be a cool contrast against the green of the mountains. just an idea! the gatehouse looks sick!!!
