Barce! You should make the entrance to the storage room a drop down into water. The activation should be walking over a carpet with redstone ore underneath, an observer would detect the redstone ore when you walk over it to make it light up.

A lot of castles would have moats and drawbridges in front of their gates for defense. Maybe you could do that for your gate?
also! a lil hut in front of the gate w armor stands or smth for the guards might tie everything together!!

Hey Barce here to compliment your builds again!!! Church looks so cool. Interiors spot on 🤌, but it gave me a cool idea. You should make a bell ring every morning using a daylight sensor (in the church of course)
Also had a 16 year old dog pass away a few months ago, his name was buzz. Would love to see him in your series.
Interior and exterior are copies of bdoubleO100 builds. Outside is copied from one of his building with bdoubleO episodes and the inside is copied from a hermitcraft episode where he made a throne room.
Stables in front of the gatehouse, or perhaps some market stalls/ wagons

And for the part outside the gate, a stable just outside would be very cool, and maybe the hills to the left of the village could be some wheat and carrot fields. Very beautiful but also practical

I'm commenting a bit late so you probably won't see it, but I have some small suggestions for your village. 1: For in front of the gatehouse you could put a covered travelling salesman wagon, like the ones used by scam artists during the 17th century! 2: For the big tree you could put some lanterns hanging on it from chains (It looks a bit dark rn) 3: You should add a little picnic blanket beneath the tree, small thing, but I think it would be nice world building. 4: Since you said you wanted the world to be full of viewer's animals, try this on for size, when I was young my mother had a brown horse named Mr. Sam (or Sammy) and I was devastated when he died, would love to see him in the series! (Btw I may do a repost of this comment on the next video bc it's so late) Sorry for rambling!

Outside the gate you could add an old fashioned trattoria(small less formal italian restaurant) with maybe an inn and a market for visitors and passersby. Anyways love the videos and builds, keep up the great work man! ❤
