i have watched most reviews on these and no one mentions the white noise issue that has been an issue with sennheiser even on their higher end stuff
Is the sound performance remarkably better on the momentum 4s? After watching and reading several reviews, it seems wirth paying the extra money for Momentum 4's sound performance
If you have the extra money to throw around then I would recommend going the extra mile and getting the Momentum 4. If not, you will be more than happy with the performance given by the Accentum.
@@audio46 thanks a lot for the advice! I read the Accentums fall a bit short in terms of sound in comparison with M4s, specially soundstage and its natural mids. I'll try to demo them both and see
I tried them both today for around 30 mins. I actually liked the accentums a little more because of the balanced sound, a tad bigger earcups and the lighter weight. I was so impressed that i bought them instantly 😂
@@P0wer2R0ll thanks for that info! I tried today the Momemtums today and I was quite disappointed. What happens to world woth the bass? Why so boosted on every single set of cans around? The mids sre there but completely veiled by the bass. I won't say it bleeds into the mids but prevent them to shine. I want the guitar solo or that Freddy Mercury's voice to be the star of the show, not the bloody percussion. It must be there, backing the show but not taking the whole part of it. All that said, using Poweramp's crazy good autoEQ, I couldn't perceive a huge difference compared to the Sony wh-ch720n. To me, both have bad stock tunings. Accentums were not available for demo yet in my town. Hopefully, they're more balanced with less bass.
@@davidferrandez470 they just got the accentums in my country this thursday. But trust me the accentum is more balanced and overall less painfull to my ears wearing them as I been listening on for many hours as of today.
I would say the sound on the accentums is more sharp and cold sounding where the M4 is more warm and bass heavy imo. To my ears the bass is 25% less present on the accentum compared to the momentum 4 bass. Which I was a pleased surprise to my ears. But you should definetly wait and try the Accentums 🙂
How about the ambient mode? Robotic or natural?
It's not perfect by any means but it falls along the more natural side. Overall, it'll get the job done.
