It feels steep. And a light coat of sand feels like you would loose traction but its never happened. But i like it better than that sketchy tip that can happen.
I have about ten years on our cat 303c mini ex (same size as that Kobelco). Such a valuable machine. That with an extra smooth bucket and our mini skid replaces about 6 people lol..
I totally agree man, from very early on in my career I realized that you need to know how to operate equipment that size to be truly valuable. Knowing how to operate equipment allows me to keep my company small with low overhead. Can’t wait until I own one and have a smooth bucket to slap on it…. I hope all is well brother, and as always, thanks for the support! ✌🏻
Thank you, I always recommend removing at least 6-8 inches of soil from below the bottom of your steps. If you do not remove the organic top soil, the higher the risk of your project sinking, settling or shifting.
Nope, the water travels through the gravel and into the sub soils. Water permeates slowly into the ground. The base stone I use is clean with no fines. That helps the water permeate even quicker. ✌
Yes sir, I've watched many of your videos, and find them very useful, you're a good teacher.. but what about when it rains hard and the ground isn't able to soak it up quick enough? Just this one(that I've seen) seems like a drain could've been put in? Have you had that problem where all the gravel gets filled with water enough so that it starts hurting the pavers? I'm just wandering about if the water can raise enough through the gravel to start lifting pavers.. thanks for your videos, much love and God bless
I have not had that issue with over 150 installs with this method. Typically I tell customers that if you do not have a water issue in the proposed area now, you certainly will not in the future. With areas that do have water issues now, you need to come up with an additional plan to divert the water on top of the open grade base. ✌
Am here showing the full support, thanks for sharing this thumbs up done
Thank you ✌
@@TheChristianHardscaper show some love please I will appreciate.
Can’t wait to see the finished product brother.👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks brother! ✌🏻
Great work as always.
Thanks man! ✌
I sometimes tip my dump trailer so that its at the same angle of the ramps for loading the excavator.
I have thought about that, I just don't want to bend / ward my Dump piston... how stable does it seem when you are on like that?

@@TheChristianHardscaper no doubt. It was a great investment. Some guys lease too. Anyway. Keep up the great vids and shorts! UA-cam loves those!
I think leasing is the way I will go, the more I look into it, the better it seems to be compared to buying. ✌
@@TheChristianHardscaper look forward to seeing what you do.
great video ! as a homeowner can you just use roundup to kill the vegetation and then lay gravel a week later?

Hey, what happens to the water thats draining down the hill? Isn't it just sitting there in the gravel?
