This is my first time hearing about this profession and it turns out for those who are extremely poor this is their only hopes of getting their tooth fixed. Obviously there are high end dentists in the country, but only for those who can afford it. I hope you enjoy this video from the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In North America, especially in America most older and poor people don't have teeth or money to repair it. To fix one tooth costs 2000$, an implant for a single tooth 2500$ remove the tooth 200$. btw, most Bangladeshi people never visit dentists, because the overall dental conditions of tropical countries, including Bangladesh few compared to Western people. In Eastern Europe like Russia, many people in the 20th lost their teeth or repaired cavities. myself over mid-sixties live in North America from Bangladesh with no cavities and broke 3 teeth eating bony fish and meat with bones, I could crash bones like a hyena, and even my Chinese doctors told me that I'm lucky with my teeth. It's because of the food we eat and culture washing our teeth after waking in the morning and daily eating fruits etc. In the Indian subcontinent, toothbrushes are made of a Neem tree branch that kills the bacteria from its juices and keeping healthy. India is famous for it.

For the Dentist...if anyone from Bangladesh Law enforcement is seeing the video, they should immediately take an action to stop this man who is putting people life in danger, operating sensitive issue like teeth. They should immidiately arrest him for operatimg something like in open public. This type of treatment has no benefits but harming oneself. Please Stop this guy immediately

Hi Chris. Loving to see your videos, although I can see my crazy city with your camera sitting far away from my country. Your presentation is authentic and approach is very friendly. I can tell you that this videos are gonna make you real famous.
But that does represent a very small part of the entire life/lifestyle of the city and the country. One may think that Dhaka is as poor and as crazy as he can see, but in Dhaka there is another type/class of people who live a very decent and rich life. All of those privileged people speak English fluently as well. Most of the street people and vendors you have met while walking in the streets of Dhaka are underprivileged, coming from out of the city to earn their minimum living. They missed education and training for getting a decent job. Finding themselves helpless they come to the capital city to make their living, And the population of the city is increasing breaking all the records.
One recommendation from me: Please don't miss filming the riverine life of the country, and the completely diverse ethnic life of hill tracts of Parbattaya Chottogram. And some early morning village markets and some fish wholesale markets that can give you crazy experience, once in a lifetime. Your videos will represent al Bangladesh when you cover those unexplored parts of the country.

This is just a random things in the street of Dhaka.people are doing this making their living out of it..This man has no educational degrees on it.He might just have some practical experience..We call them “Charlatan or quack”There are some unprivileged and uneducated people might have go there for treatment but majority ignore it.Although this is an illegal practice as per of the law..Hope i can make you understand a little bit..Enjoy your stay..Take love all the way from The Netherlands 🇳🇱🇧🇩

My teeth are so messed up and I’ve spent close to twenty grand trying to save teeth from root canals fillings pulled teeth and my teeth are still ruined…not to mention toothpaste floss mouthwash toothpicks water picks plus we got fluoride in are water supply in the USA . In the USA I went to a dentist that pulled the wrong tooth I showed him took a X-ray it looks messed up and he still pulled the wrong tooth when I told him he flipped out on me and said sue X-ray and extraction was like 300 for him to pull a good tooth and leave the black fucked up tooth . I had another dentist a woman break my tooth in half and then say shouldn’t couldn’t do the surgery sent me to the hospital for a six thousand dollar bill America is terrible health care to many people in places of authority that don’t know what there doing

HIPPA and OSHA violation and also a violation of the code of ethics in dentistry, in North America that’s easily a lawsuit waiting to happen . You don’t see this type of stuff in the states or really in any other developed countries, we have laws in place that prevent this type of malpractice. I respect his grind, but man you just don’t mess around with people’s health like that.
