  • In this part 6 video series of this pintail duck wood carving I will be painting the piece. I accidentally deleted some files from the original footage and had to use about 3-1/2 minutes of footage I shot with my phone for a shorts video, but it returns to regular format at around the 3:30 mark.

    Great video and love how the duck turned out. Thanks for sharing you painting techniques on this. I'm hoping to shift toward carving more wildlife on my channel in the future.

    Vermiculating is done using combs of varying patterns to create the effect, Looks great overall. I think you would benefit by using some finer brushes. Excellent work though for your first bird
