Yay!! That makes me so happy Carol. The locking c-knot is tricky and it really challenges common sense, but ones you learn it you are good to go. Thanks so much for watching my videos and taking the time to leave me a nice comment. Happy bow making!
Welcome Barbara and I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos. Thanks so much for watching and I appreciate you taking the time to leave me a comment. Happy crafting!
The main difference is there are even more peg holes on the V3 for more size options, especially for triple loop bows. The V3 is also now made of injection plastic which is more precise and longer lasting. You can view the main difference on my Bow-it-All V3.0 intro video here: ua-cam.com/video/BNqDhOK5HyA/v-deo.html. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a nice comment.
Hi Bonnie, thanks for sharing this video, it's really great! I love it! Is the link still available? I would like to buy one to make my bows in my country.
The link above for the new version is still active and there is also the option of the older model. You can find both Amazon options on the RRR website here: www.reasonableribbon.com/item/Bow_it_All_V3_0_Tool_from_Zutter_/8007/c407 Not sure if Amazon ships outside the US on these products. I"m sure it will be obvious when you click on the links. Happy bow making!
I just found the Bow it All on Amazon today and it is super great! Your videos make it seem really easy to create the bows perfectly! I'm also just learning about cardmaking and that purple card was sooooo beautiful - how did you make the roses?
I'm so glad you like the video. I know you will LOVE your Bow-it-All. The roses were made with the rose dies from Cheery Lynn Designs. I don't have a tutorial up for them yet, but be sure to subscribe to my channel because I will be working on videos again after Christmas. Thanks for leaving me a sweet comment and happy bow making!
I got my bow it all 3.0. I really wish there was a insert in there or even a sticker that could go on the tool to help with remember where the placement of the metal stakes go for certain types of bows. Like the envelope maker tool has from we r memory keepers. It like the scor board. Where it has the measurements on it to give you where to start. I feel like the direction book is overwhelming. I am going to watch more videos and hope they help.
Hi Amy. I think once you get going, you will find that you just automatically know where you want the pegs to go. I hope you will take a look at my other videos as sometimes it's easier to watch than to try to figure it out from photos in a manual. Happy bow making!
Hi Jill. Thanks so much for watching. My glue of choice for my bows is E6000, but it does require a bit of 'hold time' while it dries. If you get along with your hot glue gun better than I do, that is a great option too with almost no wait time while it dries. I just always have strings of glue and globs all over, so the E6000 works better for me. Happy bow making!
Hi Serena and thanks so much for watching. Without more info, it's hard to say. If you are experiencing the problem when using different types of ribbon, it's normal. Light weight ribbons will allow you to tighten the know down more and make a tighter know. Thicker ribbons like grosgrain will not tighten as much. If you experiencing different knots using the same ribbon, then I would just say to make sure the bow ends are not overly twisted in the back and just use the rocking motion to tighten as much as possible. I also have a 'Mastering the locking c-knot' video you can watch. I hope that helps a little. Happy bow making!
Thank you so much for your videos. I have finally learned how to make the locking C-knot from you.

You made it look so easy. What is the difference between the V2.0 and the V3.0

What type of glue do you use to keep the tails in place?
