@rovebeetle2 Genres are arbitrary, both because of all the fusion and overlapping and the choice of how specific you want to get. I'd consider Alestorm to be power metal, though- not really a lot of folk going on except that accordion they have going on in the background if that counts.
That would be true if you discount Wayward Sons, Bone Idol, Jonah's Ark, Prince of the Poverty Line, Silent Whales and probably both The Answer Machine and Irrational Anthems too.
