The whole point is that you aren't just safe out in the open, if an LZ is being camped just walk more and go clear it yourself. So many Lz's on the map, why tf would you sit at one all day.

He literally just found the biggest loophole the devs somehow never thought about. Everyone is LZ camping now.
Devs have literally been talking about this since before the game dropped lol
The problem with ratting in this game is that they can respawn and catch another helicopter and go back to their body. So people will keep coming back maybe with Homies to help and try and keep getting more info / find and kill you. So you gotta loot fast and dip. If you stay you will be in higher amounts of danger.
Thats actually good. That way there is at least a little bit of risk to ratting.
@@MindBlowerWTF I suppose that is true. From what I'm seeing people just going out naked is going to be a major part of this game. You can kill the AI scavs pretty easily with just a knife. So again ratting is kind of less viable since you're not going to be getting much.
@@Masterho310that and since there are no quests for PvP, you aren’t really progressing in the game at all if you just camp. And camping LZs are out of the way of any decent loot, so it’ll take a lot of extra work… with not much reward.

I'm definitely with the side of making LZs a bit safer from rats. But it would also be better if it's done organically by the players themselves; like a group of dedicated Anti-RAT squad patrolling LZs and they get "paid" by their side in form of item gifts, ammo and such. This would be a better option vs adding NPC bots guarding LZs - considering several other CCs have voiced their concern at how the AIs is kinda Tarkov-like...
NGL Would be wild to see rats fighting for their life once in a while, in a game like this.
Or just let people walk in or drive in instead of fixed landing zones
@@RexM-od1vt So far watching people playing it, it seems that you can just walk it all the way to the LZ but given the size of the map (or HQ to LZ), it's definitely not going to be prefferable to most people.
However, I like the idea of driving to the POIs. It's just that I don't know if it's better if it's NPC-controlled like the chopper or player-driven & player-owned vehicle.

That's a brilliant idea honestly. I think you'd be wise to create a steam and/or content farm around it right at launch. That way you'd have a community behind a mutually beneficial playstyle born with the game lol
Driving would be cool. Or let us pick our own specific LZs. Maybe we discover an LZ area… but we get to choose specifically where in that area we can land.

Thank you for exposing the ridiculousness of the helicopter drop offs 😂. You should be allowed to use your gun. The developers basically said if you don't want to die everytime you're getting off a helicopter, you can just walk for an hour to get to each location 😂

would be cool if the helis kicked up a lot more dust that acted like a smoke wall. cant see through it at all , goes out a longer way, and allows you to run in a direction for a good bit before campers can see where you went.

Bro I hope there is some stuff in place to kinda prevent this, like changing LZ on the fly, so You can back off, if there is a stack of bodies on the LZ for example. But nothing artificial, like putting an autoturret on the heli. Ratting in Tarkov seems more "fair" xD
