Who ever designed this church has exquisite taste! What a beautiful group of postulants. This is just beautiful and I hope they all have a long happy life as a nun! And I would like to thank all the nuns for accepting their religious vocation. For all they do for Holy Mother Church!
What a beautiful church and ceremony! Tell me: Is this a Contemplative Order? I wish all Postulants much happiness as they go on to discern! Please make more videos of this group and their journeys! I nearly entered a Contemplative Order at the age of 18. But Life had other plans for me, so I never got as far as any of the formal discernment processes. I am still rather fond of, and cherish that longing and informal, inner experience from that Chapter in my Life, tho. 🙂 Looking forward to more vids from you! 🙂
I am so proud of Mary Clare's postulancy...she was with me on the altar for several years as an altar server and awesome young lady. May God continue to bless her and everyone else entering into a new relationship with God! Deacon Dave Young
What a beautiful occasion. 18 postulants! I pray that all may persevere in their vocation and bring abundant blessings on their families, community and the world.
I have 3 daughters and 1 more on the way. My prayer is all of them become nuns. I am a former protestant but one of the things that drew me to the catholic faith was seeing how the sisters live out their faith. Its truly a beautiful vocation and i think so highly of nuns. God bless.
I have two sons and I have a secret wish they became priests although it is scary how things are now in the Church. It will be a real proud if any of them have a vocation to priesthood.
We sang Immaculate Mary so many times during my pilgrimage to Lourdes. I get chills when I hear it now, it takes me back to that incredible week that changed my life forever.
Hi I am touched by your comment I will be going on a pilgrimage to Notre Dame de Lourdes next month and Fatima in Portugal, yes I know this song so beautiful, it’s called Ave Maria. Blessings ✝️🙏
I’m so happy for the community of Sisters! What a nice looking group of young women. 18!!! Awesome! We love Genevieve from St. Mary’s. Glad she could join her blood sister. Mother Assumpta, you have a great sense of humor. So great to see your fidelity to Religious Life. Many, many blessings to you and all the Sisters. I’m personally praying for all these young women to persevere in their holy vocations. Dominican Sisters are a wonderful light to the world.
What a beautiful group of postulants! My heart is moved to see these beautiful women of God. May they be blessed and receive every grace to journey with the Lord and Mother Mary! Sending prayers from Canada.
Mary mother of the Eucharist. First Tabernacle of the Lord. Hail Mary for saying"yes" to Jesus. For God so loved the world that he sent his only son so that man could be reconciled to God. God sent his son through Mary.Hail holy queen, Tabernacle of love and mercy.
I love this!! I had two aunts that were Ursuline Sisters.... They have both passed, but never forgotten. I have such fond memories of them. Much love to ALL of our Sisters! God Bless
My prayers are with all of you beautiful young women as you begin your religious lives as postulants. This was such a blessing to watch as you start your journeys. You are so fortunate to have been called by the Lord to be part of such a dynamic and wonderful order. I will keep you all in my prayers for this very important year. And I ask you to keep me in prayer as I'm recovering from a very bad case of COVID-19. I've been in the hospital since July 1st, including 2 weeks in ICU. While the worst is now behind me, I'm still on oxygen 24/7 and I'm working hard to regain my strength. I almost didn't make it. I've never been so seriously ill in my life; for that matter I've never been in the hospital before except for child birth. So I need all the prayers I can get!! ❤❤❤
I' ll pray for you and for these beautifoul young nuns. I m from Italy and i don't know where Is the place of that convent . But this Is the Saint Communion!!!
Aw this was beautiful and the Mother superior spoke do beautifully and looked so happy to welcome all the new Sisters to them. Good luck to all the new Sisters on there journeys as brides of Christ and May in bring them much happiness and peace ❤
Kindly consider praying an additional holy Rosary to your current daily one, for the loving intentions of our Blessed Mother - she will be ever so grateful. God bless you.
Congratulations to all 18 Postulants. Lord Jesus, we pray for our Postulants, fill them with the Holy Spirit. Holy Mary intercede for them, St Joan of Arc, protect them, St Michael, defend them. St Dominic, St Catherine of Siena, St Rose of Lima, St Cecilia, St Mary Magdalene, pray for them. Praying the rosary for their vocations. There is no goodbye, just see you later. See you in the EUCHARIST, Sisters. GOD bless!
That was a beautiful ceremony. I've watched several podcasts over the last week, and still more to watch. They have been wonderful in helping me on my walk of faith as a mum and grandmother. I believe that the Catholic Charismatic Renewal started at Ann Arbour many decades ago. I was received into the Catholic Church in 1977, having married into a Catholic family in 1970.
Keep FAITHFUL to the Church of CHRIST May the LORD keep you in HIS ❤️ and our Holy Blessed Virgen of GUADALUPE Bless you and Protect your "Fiat"" Valencia Chávez Fam ❤️
Quite lovely! I was just thinking about the pandemic as I watched this ceremony just before Mother Assumpta Long, OP. began speaking. Hope all of you are safe, vaccinated, and well. Peace & Blessings! 😍
What a moving start to religious life, and so many postulants and novices. There is hope for the church yet! Here in Australia most religious orders are on the path to extinction. No common prayer life, no habits and no charism, and of course, no vocations! God bless you all.

What a beautiful church and ceremony! Tell me: Is this a Contemplative Order? I wish all Postulants much happiness as they go on to discern! Please make more videos of this group and their journeys! It would be interesting to find out how many decide to stay. 🙂
Dear Sisters I can not get your beautiful mass anymore I’m asmatic and also diabetic I can’t leave the house till I get vaccinated whic won’t be for another 3 months so really looked forward to your mass I can get your morning prayers thank you for that and God bless you all Sisters 🙏
I realize that this is a really old comment, but I just came back here to listen to this hymn, and I searched for it again (my first attempt was unsuccessful). I found that it is called "There is a King" and it was originally written by Jim Cowan. Again, I know this is an old comment, but I just felt like I might as well mention it haha. :)
I watch just a few days ago some Nuns taking their final vows and there where only 3. I wonder how many of these potential Nuns will take there final vows.
I know this video is 3 years old, but can anyone tell me two things out of curiosity. Is there a number capacity on how many nuns can be in a convent? Also I am just curious as to the purpose of the way the pews on the right side of the screen have a single seat for each row. Thank you for sharing these videos and helping us learn more about your community.
Thanks for asking! 1. The number of nuns varies with the kind of community. For this particular community, there is no limit. 2. The unique "pew" design is called a "stall." It allows the Sisters to face each other while chanting the psalms, a traditional practice.
Who ever designed this church has exquisite taste! What a beautiful group of postulants. This is just beautiful and I hope they all have a long happy life as a nun! And I would like to thank all the nuns for accepting their religious vocation. For all they do for Holy Mother Church!
I would have to agree with you.
@Quaker 2019 That's a very good question. I'm sorry I dont know the answer but I like it. If I find out I'll pass it on.
It’s a convent, and the seats are spread out because they are choir stalls. The Sisters use the choir stalls as part of their choral Divine Office.
What a beautiful church and ceremony!
Tell me: Is this a Contemplative Order?

@@shippermd I dont think it is a contemplative order. I know they do teach grade school children and I think they have a children's show on EWTN.

Oh my goodness, I know three of these postulants, and didn't realize one was entering. What a joy to see!
My goodness! The amount of pure joy oozing out of these people is overwhelming to me. I don't want it to end.
I can't find the "What a savior you are" hymn anywhere on the internet. How do I get it?
Wow! How beautiful to see so many young women entering religious life. Thank God!
❤
This was absolutely beautiful! 18 novices and 18 postulants, is certainly the Holy Spirit bearing much fruit. God bless you, Sisters!
Thanks for watching and commenting, Bob. God bless!
My great-aunt was a Dominican nun. Watching this brings back good memories of her and the nuns that took my family in when we left our country.
My late wife, Martha, was raised by German Dominican Sisters in Pingtung, Taiwan.
I see, vocations are up. I'll just be here in Spirit, with you. Wow. Special Souls dedicated to Him. No doubt, Mary is watching. :) Amen.

If I have a daughter and she decides to enter the Holy Order, I will fully support her and take it as a great honor.
Your order must be very pleasing to God that He has blessed it so abundantly. I pray for all of you.

Muita Perseverança!! Deus é Fiel!!
also 18 apparitions of the Blessed mother to Bernadette Soubirous.
I never saw so many postulants at one time..
What is the hymn at the end please? It is quite beautiful. God bless your Community and the young women beginning their religious life.
Peeking at the organist's music it looks like the title is "There is a King", but I can't find it when I look for it on Google. It is a nice hymn.
So disappointed that I can't find the hymn online. Such a beautiful hymn.

The number 18 is equal to the word "life" in Hebrew cha'im(hi-eem). Letters in the Hebrew alphabet are also equal to certain numbers.
32:47 what is the hymn sung at this moment? Thank you... composer and name?
I hope to get this beautiful hymn too.
