  • What are you in the absence of experience? This is a description of the answer and how to arrive upon it for yourself. Listen to it meditatively. This will be a trip beyond the veil of deep sleep and consciousness itself.
The riddle of deep sleep, coma, and death is a significant hurdle in the realization of Nonduality - the radical understanding that inspired the truly enlightened to dedicate their lives in pointing to the indescribable; Nirguna, Parabrahman, Sunyata, The Godhead. The culmination of the spiritual search. This video provides insight into the Ultimate Reality that lies beyond consciousness.

I have been watching your videos for some time, and it's so true and beautifully explained. Thank you for your efforts. I too talk to people and do Satsangs about Self Knowledge. But this above video is my own experience too. In right words beyond experience. My teas fell down. No 'I ' is the happiest . Thank you 🙏🙏🙏❤

I'm glad this has resonated. Remember, when the inquiry becomes so subtle, the insight is also subtle. There may be no grand revelation, but just a crystal clarity that this is the way things are...and that they could not be any other way.

I have experienced that sense of complete annihilation where the thought and image of I, of my very existence was being consumed in a vast void of whiteness. I screamed out over and over again for help. For something or someone to bring me back before I was forever lost. It was a terror of which was replaced with a certainty of a presence of peace and love. This video helped me revisit both that moment of destruction and the ultimate deeper understanding beyond my existential fears. Such a wonderfully deeply felt pointer you have presented here my brother.

That is amazing and exactly what this video is about. The love and peace and understanding which lie beyond that wall of existential fear. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you 🙏. I am glad you found it so. Most minds have a lot of defense mechanisms and ways to dodge around this truth!

Lately, I've been having these dreams when I'm in deep unconscious sleep.
I'm aware of only a symbol or a sound, and I know it has a deep meaning , but when I start to regain consciousness and enter normal dream state , the meaning fades.
All I know is that it was very meaningful and peaceful.

You may find it useful to consider that maybe the meaning isn't in the symbol or sound, but in the knowledge of your own identity in that moment. In this experience, you know you are not the symbol or sound, and there is no sense of body or mind. What else is there? That is You, beyond any ideas or thoughts about you.

    Beautiful and inspiring, as always.
I use to meditate, but inquiry has increased a lot.
A practical question I had from previous videos as well: how to deal with falling asleep during meditation?

    • @untangle-your-mind
      @untangle-your-mind  5 місяців тому +2

Are you actually falling asleep? If you are meditating in a traditional pose like half lotus, if you fall asleep the head or arms will roll, you'll have a sensation of falling and jerk awake. But if that is not happening, you aren't actually falling asleep, but entering a type of samadhi where there are no perceptions.
This is the samadhi where you still have the attentiveness to catch the very first perception/feeling/thought arise. So, the point to focus on is not to prevent going into that samadhi, or trying to extend it, but being attentive as you come out of it. Seeing clearly how the world, mind, and appear only later, as subjective phenomena. And as you see all this appear, you know yourself as you are, beyond ideas of being and non-being.

Wow, that was a very nice advice. Thank you.
I meditate twice a day: early in the morning and early evening. Since the "fall asleep" phenomenon normally happens in the early evening session, I believed it was because of being physically tired. But in most cases there is no posture change, and no sensation of falling and jerk awake. It's just like a re-gaining of consciousness (I believe) after some time off, or completely unaware of the present moment.
When it happens again, I will try to be attentive to the moment I come out of it... the arising of perception/feeling/thought.
      Thank you again! 💖💖
