I knew he was canuck soon as he said "house". Jessie reminds me of Kelly Clarkson, powerful, pitch perfect voice. I hope she doesn't record with auto tune. She could sing the shit outta anything. Decent lyricist but all her songs are kinda sappy love songs and kind of teeny bopperish, but they're catchy and good nonetheless. She's so good I still like em. I can't wait for her songwriting to expand and mature tho. I love the bands like in the 80s which include a synth paired w/guitar, bass, and drums (depeche mode, pulp, new order, the cure, duran duran, etc).

She does use autotune. Does not overuse it, but at times there may be a giveaway here or there.
