Also Kristine is a singer that I like very very much (the danger, modern love, burning fever, the deepest blue). Then there is Nina (automatic love, berlin, beyond memory). But the Midnight are probably the most famous band of this synthwave music ( my favorites of them: river of darkness, neon medusa, vampires, the comeback kid, explorers remixed by Yoru & Dimi Kaye).
This album is nothing short of a stunning masterpiece. It blends mystery, sexiness, melancholy, and a remarkable sense of pop major scale notes with minor and brooding turns. Above all, the songwriting is just superior, joining the ranks of The Midnight and Nina in the New Retro Wave genre. Artists of the caliber of Frye deserve way more attention than they receive.
