The main issue with this is, if you havent got a fixing point for the plastic tap holder, its no good, most mixer taps are very flimsy and move with the slightest bit of pressure, its great for a fixed tap like yours
I was wondering about the difference between the compact and original? Could you not get by with just the compact version? I like this product and for my use as a handyman in the care industry it looks like it could be very useful. Just got to convince the boss, that is the hard part.

Yes this would be an issue for mixer taps, no proper fixing point so not really that good
