- It's always a privilege and an honor to be invited to Ken Patterson's house for the traditional after St. Louis RPM recording of "What's Neat". Also had a great time socializing and networking with other model railroaders.
Enjoy and Thanks for Watching!
I always have a great time @ Ken Patterson's home! The hosts..Ken & Michelle Patterson are the best! They open their home & make us feel welcome! I'm the one in the background with the Midwest Valley Modelers cap on! I was Secretary/Treasurer of the club. This is the "Worlds Greatest Hobby" Till Next Time! MoPac Jack
MoPac Jack, what is up? Yeah, I feel privileged to be invited. Michelle has the patience of an angel to tolerate all of us in her house. See ya next year!
Great to see media producers cooperating and making this a team sport.
Hi Donavon! It's always fun being part of a recording session at Ken's. Thanks for watching and commenting! Terry
all the hustle and bustle before the show. ken going nuts for 10 mins. then 30 mins of perfect ( episode ) amazing how he brings it all together.
did you get a chance to see a train from the deck overlooking the tracks? Ron Pare and myself spent 2 good hours relaxing with our morning coffees.
great video you put together. one of the best host you can find.
and the Soo Line guy ( Dave ) now sit and talk with him, great guy full of knowledge and just loose yourself in time talking
Hi Dave! Steve Hurt (the modeler who did the Rock Island High-Rail MOW Truck) and I are good friends. He's been to Ken's more times than me and we always laugh at the "organized chaos" at Ken's house. There's lots more going on that I didn't record. Before the show, I spent a lot of time talking to George Bogatiuk with Soundtraxx and also ran into and talked to Andy Dorsch and Daniel Coombs, had a great time socializing and networking with lots of people. No trains on the tracks below, but what a great view point and it would also be great to get some footage from a drone. Thanks for watching and commenting! Terry
Penncentral99 i did actually catch a northbound manifest that i uploaded to my youtube channel.
Daniel
Hi Daniel, thanks for the heads-up. I watched the video and left a comment. Terry
Great job looks like a lot of fun
Hi David! Yeah, it's always fun at Ken's with the "organized chaos". Thanks for watching and commenting! Terry
Great video, really captures the work that goes into the show. I wish I had been thinking when i visited the taping of the show back in November - I took two still pictures, ho well, but still had a blast. Thanks for sharing, I’ve been enjoying your videos...Anthony
Hi Anthony! Since you have attended a recording session at Ken's, you also know there's lots going on that doesn't get shown, but it's always fun. Thanks for watching and commenting! Terry
I knew you were a celebrity but i never knew it was this big
ha, you funny! I'm not the celebrity you think I am, hahahahahahaha Thanks, Terry
Very cool look at 'backstage' :)
thanks! I'm sure you've heard me use the term "organized chaos"
@@PennCentral99 :-O
Catching up on my UA-cam today. Very cool behind the scenes look at WNTW. Jeff Meyer invited me over but I declined (mainly because my son was ready to go). Maybe next year. I need to get out of my funk and get some models done.
Yeah, it's fun to go to Ken's house after the RPM and socialize. Other people bring their children, don't see why you couldn't. Terry
I hear ya Todd. I actually started weathering a hopper last night. First thing I have done since covid started in 2020. Feels good to get back and do something now that life is a bit back to normal. I’m 3 hours from Ken’s place and really need to go sometime. This video is lighting the fire! 😉
