I love and hate how perfectly everything represents how much this guy is tired. It’s important to keep in mind that while it was a brutal and disheartening death, there wasn’t any other way for it to happen. Henchman wasn’t an innocent man, he’s killed an untold amount of people, and every choice he ever made led him to meeting the fans. Such is the cost of violence.
I mean, yeah, but I still think he deserved a little more. Everyone does fucked up things, and while killing people is a bit more fucked up than most things people do, I think he was more a victim of a system he was in than a cold blooded killer.

that got me thinking about who would actually win in a fight between the fans and the henchman assuming they're both in peak condition. i feel like it would have been a pretty uneven fight and that henchman probably still would've died. but, he was a career criminal and the son's right hand man, who did actually beat the fans, while high no less.

I got really used to hearing this song as I kept doing retries for the level achievement. The synth bells coming back around again was the best indicator as to how many times I had to retry. I heard it many times.

I literally finished a match of Insurgency Sandstorm in character as the Hitman at the exact second of the completion of the song by stutter stepping a corner and quick drawing my suppressed eagle for a smooth, no ads double tap. I deeply appreciate your version of this song, everything synced up perfectly.
I think that his phrase about the urge to "go home" might resemble how he was desperately trying to escape his past criminal life and yet failed to do so by dying both literally and metaphorically. In his dream, we can see him driving away from the city/crime, ready to start a new life, only to hear about the incoming storm (death) and realize that he was going in circles by not taking matters into his own hands earlier, followed by his girlfriend's treachery and him resorting to ease the pain with drugs, making the final roundabout to his demise.
