Each of the characters will be heavily elaborated, and hopefully soon.
So far, I think Howdy received the most fleshing out these last two updates (the shopping scene between Howdy and Sally shows he's a bit of a Huckster, selling her powdered Soap as if it were instant mashed Potatoes; he also recycles his unsold merchandise for cheap costumes).
Now it's Poppy that we know the least about, she's just the Old Hen who bakes cakes for everybody.😢
Poppy is not elderly, as all the neighbors canonically have ages ranging from 25-30 years (although she could be one of the older ones). Fanon wise, she is depiticated as such due to her hobbies and the fact that she is the largest puppet in the neighborhood. I think that's why they reimagened her voice from the phone demo from 2020 to the voice ModMad/Sarah Jolley plays her as, which is something more softer and youthful, but is still fowl like (stating birds).
That being said, I agree that she should light shone onto her story wise, as she seems to have an interesting personality and role. She acts as a mother figure (not being a mom tho), but her crippling anxiety makes daily tasks difficult to the point that she has trouble leaving her own home most days. I wonder how they are going to develop her character as the story progresses.

The Frankly-Joyful relationship was the most obvious to me from the beginning - they garden and play together, they dress up together, laugh at each other's jokes, and even hold hands together.
They are Super Best Friends, and since Julie is a good Lady and Frank is a Good Man, why would anyone not want to date their best friend? 🤨🧐
Sally only says that they "make a Dashing Couple," so it's unconfirmed whether they are a couple or Sally is suggesting that they would be good for each other - either way, I stand by that Ship.🚢⚓

All those written instructions have actual changes to the website now.
The one-sided "Relationship" between Eddie and Sally was the most interesting to me so far: I totally saw this coming at some point from the extremely subtle clues of the first few updates, but my guess was that Sally would be Eddie's Satellite, not the other way around.😅
The signs were there that Eddie likes Sally: He reads Fairy Tales and Comedia del Arte so he can have something to talk about with Sally; he made an elaborate Frankenstein Monster Costume to Impress Sally, and he's the only one to correctly refer to Sally's Pedrolino Costume each time (even I thought it was Pulcinella the first time I saw it😅).
I don't know about you younger kids, but back in my Day, if a Boy puts that much attention to detail for a Girl, it's because he's sweet on her.

Barnaby calling the hotdogs silly things is not the name Howdy gives them, but Howdy says "bubble blast" is actually the name on the package, making me think what he says in that scene is accurate

Zee grab my hand and I'll pull you to the saner side of the fandom! Oh yeah Home's goo is spreading. I do think a new thing with Eddie, his mom is noted to have been a mail carrier too. Not sure when that was added but it is super sweet and sad. Howdy's names for food is old dinner talk, shorthand basically. Actually, Frank and Eddie are going to be a couple, but as of the actual show Julie and Frank were implied to be best friends to lovers. So you guys are on the right track, the meta of the project and what happened in the show is what is being shown. I do wonder how Eddie and Frank's true relationship will be revealed, maybe through the hidden videos which I think many of us believe to be how everyone acts when the cameras are off, when there is no script to follow. The exception being when we now are getting these show-connected recordings, as they are what was going on during the show's production. The bugs we can click on are what happens in actuality. So I'm wondering if we'll get more bugs(who I think are being left by Frank and Wally) we will get more of Frank and Eddie interacting in a much closer, more couple-based way, kinda like what we hear in the one where Frank gets the beetle out of the post office for Eddie.
