Hey there! Welcome to Freedom Gauntlet! This project is all about highlighting the awesome fan-made secret bosses from the Deltarune community over the years. Each volume will feature a mix of familiar and new faces, bringing all these secret bosses together to spark YOUR interest in them. We’re breaking it down into volumes, with each one showcasing four secret bosses along with their cool illustrations!

this is how I feel to the song I covered ( this doesn't mean anything to the quality of the song, it's just behind the scene stuff ):
Whistle: So damn fun to mess around with, especially that PART. Make me wanna go to heaven but that's impossible.
Cottonmouth: I'm feel dead when I'm making this, lol. it's hard to make by ears.
Pete n VB: intro was hard to make but after I figure out the gig, it went swell, and it have fun screaming "FRIEND INSIDE ME" into the mic multiple time at 3am :]
Western: It's ok, For some reason I got stuck at making the Megalovania part, but that's skill issue. The part before it was tough to make by ears but not impossible,

Edit: i like how 3/4 of these bosses are based of the Woody Theory.
Out of the freedom volumes so far, this one is the best one out of the bunch! I can't wait for the next volume. As for other characters I would like to see in the future, I didn't mention last time are Rosey the Revenger, Deovii, and Boo Quette.

just binged the entire project so far, this is so wonderful and it is inspiring me a lot to work on my own sb!!! i love the creativity that this community fosters and how much it has inspired me to create. anyways all the sbs here ROCK and i'll definitely be subbing for more! also adding this to my deltarune au playlist because mashups like these are so much in the spirit of what ive been going for with it

I have no idea who this toothpaste colored cowboy is, but his part slaps tremendously
Green Crayon theory
Whistles.
Thought it would be fun to come up with an idea for a soul mechanic for a battle with all four of these at the same time. All of them use the green soul, except Western, who uses the orange soul iirc. Orange soul mechanic in most fangames is that you're moving constantly. So, if we combined them, we could just have the shield constantly rotating. Hold z to make it stay still and tap x to speed it up/slow it down. Combine this with the green bullet mechanic that Pete n VB has and you can have it so that as soon as a green bullet touches your shield, you need to let go of z and move your shield to parry it.
Cod this would be HELL to play lmfaoo

@@ChorusCraekr I have to admit that I did kinda shoehorn the green bullet mechanic in. Looked at my comment again and you are right about that. It does overcomplicate things quite a bit.
Im guessing that for game balance ralsei's tp act would make it so you dont need to parry pete's bullets differently than the rest and sussie's would be you being able to control the direction that the shield spins and the shadow mantle either allows you to take a quarter damage or gives you an additional shield/makes your existing shield bigger
It's kinda funny that you could make like 3 or 5 videos of just different Sheriffs Fan Secret Boss themes
As an aphill fools they should do that but one of them is literally just starlo from undertale yelloe
