...You could use the puzzle elements on the combat, while it won't be something you can add with a plugin alone, you can make interactions which the game more fluid. Like if a Party had a buff which if interacted with a certain move, could do something else. Adding a "K.O." system, and multiple ways to "k.o" the opponents would play into the puzzle aspect. I understand if you don't, but just giving some advice. Recommend looking for other rpg makers games, who do others stuff.
