I’m actually pretty impressed. Many of the bits and parts look kind of low quality but it’s a whole complete set up for about 1k. The market desperately needs these low cost leaders to drive down the market price
To drain: after shutting off the valves, disconnect the pod from the chiller and connect the rubber end of the drainage hose to the bottom pod valve. Then open that valve.
Can you put up a video on how to properly drain a chillers tubes as well as how to clean them after water stagnated and got really gross smelling in there? 😖🥺🤢 my chiller smells disgusting rn 😔
I had this same issue. Instead of pushing it through, which is where it usually stops, pull the there other end. Kinda like you would with a draw string.
I CANNOT get air out of my pump/lines. Sounds like the pump is struggling to push the water through and pulsating. Not a smooth constant flow. Any suggestiong?
Just installed the Chiller and it makes a lot of noise when pumping water. Is this normal? I thought it was supposed to be quiet like a refrigerator but this thing makes loud sloshing and gurgling noises. Very noticeable. It’s not leaking and water is indeed being pumped into the Ice Pod but the noise doesn’t inspire confidence
I’m experiencing a similar issue. When I first set it up, no noise at all, but when I changed the filter & water to add new water it’s making this noise now. Water is being pumped & everything but I’m concerned. Did you get an answer? I reached out to support but lowkey panicking
Took mine about 10 hours in Houston the first time. The tap water is lukewarm even at its coldest here. Most recently I added about 2 lbs of ice and used outdoor water which was a lot cooler and it got down to 50 degrees in just a few hours.
How do you know if it’s working properly? Mine ran for about two hours, sounds normal, set up right etc. are the rubber pipes supposed to be cold as well? It’s about 75 degrees here
Buyer be warned: Very difficult to setup. I watched the instructional video and carefully followed the manual, but the filter unit keeps leaking. I seriously regret this purchase.
@@Timelybibleverseagree, more than likely condensation. I live in a very humid coastal state and it has condensation all the time, but water levels do not drop any more than they did through the winter. I use mine daily and have yet to have an issue.

Can you do a tutorial on how to replace the filter?
You unscrew the glass container, pop in the new filter, rescrew it onto the unit
What micron filter does it use?
How do you set it up for your tub

Much appreciated information

6 to 16 is the estimate due to air and water temperatures. If you’re in S Florida, it takes some time. Especially in the summer !
What is the temp range as im nee to this and my temp is 20 degrees and would like to drop down bit by bit.
How the heck do you get the tubing into the insulation?
There is a small cutout in the insulation where the Velcro connects that leaves space for both valves.

Did you really ask that lol just put the damn tube in the insulation…..what is complicated?
Anybody know where you can buy these hose connectors that screw on?
You need to have a video that explains how to remove Air from the pump

You get an answer to this one yet?

Check the hoses it could be condensation run off. Also make use of the tape they give you for leaks works great for me no leaks!!

No, it was very easy to set up
