Lasts 2-3 weeks. You can technically keep it in longer but you’re at risk for it locking. For me it took 10 hours(I’m slow) but for others I’ve seen 6-8 on average. Depends on the amount of hair and how much experience you have with twisting though

I thought I had type 4 hair (personally, i don't trust that hair charting system because of who created it and how everyone doesn't fit all categories to a T), but my hair can never hold twists or braids. And all products I have tried weighs my hair down to the point where I lose even a bit of my curls. Like my ends will look straight. Only way to have a neat look for me is to add braiding hair.

Also the wigs reduces manipulation (which breaks the hair) of the hair as those kinks and coils make it easier to break

Are you twisting on stretched curls? Try twisting when your hair is in a more shrunken state. Hope this helps 💚

You try argan oil and hair pudding and twist around ya finger into a circle. The ends will stay together 😊

My hair was dry. If you want to minimize shrinkage start on blown out hair and use a product that's not too wet like my Conditioning Curl Cream 💚
