8:21 it’s the only trick I know, but you can put a very small dent instead of the gigantic one and focus it towards the top instead of the middle. Saves the cards you use for it and you can get more distance for the cards flight as well as more spin.

Chris, the false cut isn't quite what you think it is. The first swing matches what you do, but then he goes into something different where the packets actually do change places (for a short while)

Here is my guess without reading comments.
The diamonds don't show up because they are red against the red background of the card.
The red cards shown at the end are printed over the spades shown with the light
