It’s similar for a mk2 2013 Kia Cee’d. I used the 90 degree end of a scribe tool to pick it out. Had the window lever pointing upwards and pulling out enough towards me to reveal the edge of the clip. Thanks for showing what’s going on in there. 👍
Looked up many videos on how to take out the stupid window crank! actually purchased a tool that is meant to take out the pin with NO LUCK. I purchased the exact tool you used here and with your directions I was finally able to to it! Thanks for posting this! 100 Likes! I wish Hyundai just used a screw with a screw cover instead of making this removal so complicated!

The circle actually spins independently from the clip as the slots the clip rides in are part of the handle. The circle is just for esthetics and of course to make it harder to get the clip out.😂
They make an actual window crank tool or you can go to harbor freight and get a cheap set of pick tools and do what i did in the video to pull out the pin to adjust the crank lever or remove it
thanks, the back in had me confused on the other video i watched. most vehicles are the same. i was watching for an 05 dodge dakota. Window rattle and it need a mirror that doesn't jiggle every time i hit a bump. How i miss my 04 Dakota. slightly better made all the way around. some idiot on a cell phone crunched me from behind at a red light and totaled it. I can't stand people who can't leave the phone alone while driving. Geeze, you go to prison for killing people if it was your fault.

Actually, it looks like that plastic raised up area is the detent for the clip. So look for it on opposite side of crank.
