      I found this really useful. I actually had painted 3 anemonies but it looked flat as the centre colours started merging into the outer colours, now I know how to control the paint and my flower petals don't like like a two coloured blob

      As always I find the information in your videos helpful. Which doesn’t mean I always remember the facts you’ve given us! The fault lies with me, not your teaching!

      In the uk all vacuum cleaners are 'Hoovers' regardless of who made them. My own Miele cleaner is a hoover, and sucking stuff up is always hoovering, it's just a word that's ingrained, ad man's dream!

    Thank You Michele! These techniques really helped out, tremendously so. My "Ah-ha" moment was when you mentioned water on paper & pigment ratio, that really helped. Enjoy your videos and look forward to more.

    Very VERY helpful tutorial. Your 2nd technique - is that what they call " lifting"

    • @IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber
      @IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber  3 роки тому

      It's more blending, but technically it is lifting too. Lifting is any technique that removes paint from the paper (wet or dry)

    Hello MIchele! I learn so much with your videos …I cant find the traceable for the white roses video….is. It online or do you want your patrons to sketch it ourselves? I am a Patreon member .thank you so much in advance for your help

    • @IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber
      @IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber  2 роки тому

      Hi JoAnne, I don't provide traceables, although I don't mind if you trace things, I always prefer that you exercise your drawing 'muscles' even if you get a different result to me, it's the learning experience that's important :-) The white roses was a copyright free photo from a site online, if you have a look at the first post in the series you should be able to find the details. I probably made changes from the original in any case.

    My edges are always hard. It also depends on how much paint I have on my brush.

      Yes, probably, it's an old video so I am not sure but I actually tilt my board forwards because it suits the way I have my camera.
