I wonder if Joe had finished recording the vocals by this point for High 'n' Dry. His melodies in Another Hit And Run are slightly different and he's not yet got the rasp. It's amazing how quickly Mutt Lange was able to develop Joes vocals in such a short space of time
This is either because of poor tape aging or because the band was still emerging from the lower sound they had during the OTTN era. Might be a little of both. A lot of the tapes from the High 'n' Dry Tour sound like this.
@kevinmahoney1995 I can now see what you're saying. And by the time the pyromania tour started nearly every song from the on through the night album was not being played except wasted and rock brigade. They did play overture and rocks off for the first leg of that tour though.
Awesome thank you! Another Hit and Run is one of my favorite songs! 🐆
When they were a metal band. Awesome stuff. Another Hit and Run sounds epic.
Best live version of Lady Strange.

Great find, thank you
The Great Metal Band
Sweet!
Sounds like it’s slowed down about one step, pitch and tempo wise
Probably because some of the songs were relatively new at the time of this recording.
