- Peter and I have been working on a series shooting me around the world where the only thing you can see is my boots. We are currently travelling Europe and were staying in a beautiful Swiss town and figured it was the perfect opportunity to continue the series!

oh wow you guys are here! The light and colours in the old streets in Swiss towns is part of the reason why I moved here
Any video with Bec is going to be really good because she is the best.
Shh don't tell her
Once again this one is a piece of art. Boy, I'm so glad that I came across your channel. I have learnt so much.
Awesome, thanks so much, so happy you're learning heaps
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Your quick walk through of your editing steps left me speechless. I need to go through them slowly. Thank you for this video.
Peter, I love your style. Y'all work so well together. Both of you are so talented and engaging. A hard combination on its own, yet here you two are!
Thank you Michael
Super inspired I want to explore this one out here in Virginia. I love the simplicity and how impactful the final shot is. That's art. Thanks for taking time to throw the photoshop section in too...and yeah
Thank you
Peter, thanks for the inspiring presentation you gave in Zurich last week. I enjoyed it very much.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Me too, it was very interesting and also the philosophy is very much applicable to any kind of art :)
Welcome to Switzerland you two!! Wishing you a great time and can't wait to see the amazing photos you'll certainly do here. :)
Thanks so much! 😊
Nice model and so emotional photos! B&w is awesome! Thank you for video!
Thanks for watching
Awesome work, people! Also kudos for Bec staying in the shot (video) after Peter asking her not to 😂
Lol :) thanks for watching
Love these shots of Bec. Have fun on your tour.
Thank you! Will do!
You are real Wizard Of Light! Hi to Bec!
Thank you
Another classic, interesting, educational and entertaining!
Thank you
That’s just so much fun to view and listen to you both;-) have fun in Switzerland! I was considering to join one of your classes but time…
Also great to see the Ps part of it and how to support a shot instead of changing. Thanks and have fun!!
Thank you
Hi Peter
Nice to see that between Zürich and Geneva you could spent some time at Sankt Moritz with a nice weather, much much better than the cold rain we had at the outdoor night shooting last week 😊
but wet roads got awesome on pictures...
Yes it was fun in the sun
Love it. Great tutorial on how to create HDR image. Also this video explains the not naked better then previous ones or just in different better way. Thank you gotta love Swiss streets and scenery. Love Gruyère ❤ if you like cheese you need to try it, I'm hooked on it now.
Thanks heaps, glad the explanation was better. Yes we tried fondue and it was awesome
Beautiful!
La Grand Rue in Saint-Maurice, Valais, Suisse. I do hope you enjoyed visiting our city and that you had time to visit the surroundings.
I did thank you
Looks like it would be fun :) Good job Beck 👍
Thanks! 😊
Great and useful tutorial, as usual from you!
Thank you! Cheers!
Peter and Bec - great team. I love the Bec intros with her cute gestures and body language to prep or preview us for the "format or theme" of the sessions :) Love that street, the architecture and the low POV shot upwards to capture Bec -- pure art!
Thank you
Very cool, gorgeous location!
Thanks a lot!
Great team work as always. Thanks.
Our pleasure!
Love that mountain! Bec too of course!!! 📸
Great photograph. I hope you two are having and awesome trip.
Yes we are thank you
Hope ya'll can come visit us here in New Orleans some day!!
I"d love to see a session of Bec like this on Bourbon St.
Another great presentation...thank you!!

Maybe one day! Thanks heaps
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer That would be great.
I'll buy the first round of drink!!

The whole time I'm watching the photoshop segment I'm thinking those flags are such a distraction they have to go. My OCD was on high alert for a minute, And at The last second the final reveal, no flags. Nice way to hold the suspense. Great shot.
thanks
I just see natural beauty be that person or building
Love the content and editing, awesome job guys Cheers from LA. 🍺
Glad you enjoyed it
Art 🔥
As always, AWESOME!. When are you coming to NY?
Thanks in the fall
I'm sure, you'ld like Ticino (southern Switzerland) Great spots for modelshoots....
Brilliant!
Thank you
Nice!
You guys seem to work so very well together
we try :)
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer it's really amazing seeing Bec all animated in the video looking like most women. Then, seeing her sultriness just pop in your gorgeous photos.
Great work
@Bec: I admire how patient you are when you are posing. I like a lot when you gently laugh at 5:19-5:21 because this means that posing in this session brings you happiness, and by lowering your face and gaze you isolate from the outside world and you create your own inner space that doesn’t need anything from any other place/party. You see that Peter confirm you are a Model at 6:01 when he says: “she always wants to be in shot”. I like a lot the mountain behind you, acting as your bodyguard.

@Peter: Many thanks for having chosen this location, outdoors, daylight and Bec. I had just made a change in the plan and I will go back to BW, leaving the color for later. Thanks for clarifying your position about filters (1:45), because just before I was attracted by your public Internet channel, I spent a lot of time thinking what filters I needed to make good photographs. I like when you sit on the floor, like the Model, because this is fully aligned with your idea of having the Photographer and the Model at the same level; and the jeans you wear is the perfect item of clothing for these situations. My preferred time is from 4:02 to 4:11 when you are talking with the Model, face to face, to adjust the pose, and I admire your skills to do it, because I would be horrible doing it, without any hope to improve it; I also like a lot the angle where the fix video camera films at that precise time. My preferred facial expression is at 4:20 because it looks like the Model is demanding an answer from the person she is interacting with. At 4:52 it sounds to me like the Model is bcc and syou time to think about what she just told you, without pressure. At 5:15 she seems to be in listening mode. I also liked e a lot the precise time 6:18 when you are giving explanations with the arm and hand raised, next your camera, and next the Model (without blurred), which a self-sufficient attitude, and then, suddenly she turn her gaze to the video camera. Many thanks for explaining how you overlap photographs, to properly capture the Model and the context.
-
@Patrick: Many thanks for recording the session. I will not envy you for living in such a wonderful country, that is actually, but for having directly watched a session with Peter as Photographer and Bec as the Model.
simp
vroooom, splat! bye Peter.
Lol :)
I am so surprised that you are around here.
If you come to Berlin, I'll be happy to film and help in a new video.
Thank you, we might come to Berlin next year :)
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Im looking forward to it
Yes!!!
That's a really nice part of NY.
Also ich muss sagen ich bin sehr begeistert von Euch . Sowas möchte ich auch machen
Wow I need to try this myself, looks like a great game concept :D :D :D Bec is a beautiful model :) The facial traits are very interesting to me :) She looks ideal for portrait photography as well in my view :)
Nice, and see you soon 🙂
👍
.. and yeah! :o)
Nice video! I have just noted you are using the 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor Hasselblad instead of the larger 53.4 × 40.0mm one.
Why don't you give a try to the Fujifilm GFX 100s? Same size 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor in a smaller package, Sony BSI sensor, IBIS, phase detect AF, eye AF, 16 bit RAW... Fuji GF lenses are top and Fuji used to make lenses for Hasselblad.
I'm proud member of Inspire BTW :D
Thanks so much :) glad you enjoyed this and Inspire too. I'm happy shooting with my Hasselblad, and while I'm happy it I don't see the need to change to Fuji
Looks like a fun shoot in a wonderful location! Was totally laughing when, around 3:23 Bec floats her left arm out and Peter goes, "Nah.."!!! Love the chemistry between you two!! Cheers and safe travels!!
Thanks Stephen
Great photograph.
Thanks
Wow
Switzerland is little cold in this may it is not Australia wether
Hi Peter, lovin all your UA-cam content. Learning so much just watching the vids. What advice would you offer regarding where to find models to work with? I had quit photography about 2 years ago, and realized that was the wrong decision. I love it heart and soul. Now, I just need to build my portfolio. Before, I was finding models on Model Mayhem, but that was a nightmare. Thanks in advance! Cheers
Hi Chuck, thanks so much, glad to hear it. We either go through agencies or find them on Instagram and contact them, we have an in-depth video of this on Inspire :)
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Thanks ! I appreciate your response!
I want to see the Disneyland one.
I also have to say I'm not crazy about the effect that last layer has on Bec's face. It makes it unnaturally light compared to the rest of the photo and gives it an instagram filter look.
We didn't film the Disneyland one sorry. And that's cool if you don't like the last layer, I like it and that's why it's my photo :)
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Too bad, would have loved to see the Disney one. Its a great photo with all the onlookers, especially the kid, he's hilarious. And fair enough, that's why it pays to be the one in charge, you get to make it how you like it.
Did you do anything to ensure the street was empty of people?
Nah it was just a very small town
😱😱😍Yeahh.... goddess Bec😍😱😱👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!!

If you have time for similar picture, go to the Gruyère village, Fribourg !
I think is more impressive around !
Kastel, mountain, médiéval city,....

I will check it out
Interesting way to convert to B&W!

Absolutely beautiful women Bec
Hello men of culture 😄
What is her full Name?
U r so beautiful, I love you
Wow, thank you Love Peter 🥰
Hi
the end picture is terrible…! Looks super-artificial as if her picture was taken somewhere else and she was added later to the city shot.
Sorry I'll do better next time
Send in photo where you do better.
Not a fan of photoshop, or any kind of editing in general.
If you cannot take a picture, without submitting it to massive editing after the photo is taken, you essentially just took a poor photo.
Learn how to do photography! Focus on ACTUALLY learning how to take good photos, and not on photoshop, or some other editing program. 🙂

wow! have you seen any of Peter's work? most of his shots have little editing done to them, that i can see. watch his videos and he shows you the end product while shooting...
i like to get everything right in camera too but, back in the ancient film days, photographers still edited in the Dark Room, whether it be dodging or burning or any other manner of manipulation, especially if you have to balance a couple of competing areas with 2-4 stops difference in lighting...
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer wow. that guy, eh?
@@truthsayers8725 I actually had my own dark room back when only film existed. (I've been an avid photographer since 1982)
There were very little editing that you could do then, (especially compared to what people do today on the computer).
Personally, I think that the more editing you do, the poorer a photographer you are.
Same thing over and over and over.... Time to be a bit more creative, Peter.
This was shot over 2 years ago WTF are you talking about, real artists never criticize other artists
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Honestly, it doesn't really matter if it is 10 years old, 2 years old, or if you shot it yesterday in Zürich. It is same thing over and over. Btw: is not "Art." It is photojournalism. If you get nominated for Pulitzer Price, you got my vote! Best of luck!
the same thing over and over have you ever actually looked at my work on my webpage, it's really easy to criticise others while you're being in the anonymous troll. I would love to see some of your work so I can see the standards that you were setting my work by.
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer If you missed me exhibiting at Photo Basel couple of weeks ago, you can always come to Swiss Art Expo in Zürich in August. I'll have few pieces on display there, too. Stop by to say Hi. I will show you what Art is ! Keep shooting !
bec is very beautiful...wish she remove her top next time
Begone, pervbot.
She's obviously never shoplifted before.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Nice!
Wow
Beautiful result. I have to say that when I watch videos that show editing steps I get frustrated and a overwhelmed because I don't have the software or knowledge of how to do all that editing magic. I currently only have the free version of Capture One for Fuji. So, I don't have access to adding layers. Would an ND filter have made some of the editing steps unnecessary? Thanks again for a very cool, fun and informative video.
Thanks a ND grad filter would have helped heaps
Wow
I'm jealous that Peter can sit criss cross apple sauce. I'm probably 20 years younger than him and haven't even able to do that for the past 20 years of my life.
great to see you guys at work. Post production was helpful as well and a good insight for location work which I like to do.

Unusual time of the day here, to get a video from you but evenly grateful.

Great work!
Thanks!
Excellent! " I'm the selfie and I'm going to wait for you to give me that FACE I'm going to grab" BEC is just amazing and beautiful with her natural looks and style.
thanks yes she is
Such a great moment. Thanks for all :)
Our pleasure!
Brilliant work once again Peter!!!
Thank you
👍 excellent work and excellent Bec!
Many thanks!
Bec is so tall and thin that it makes this type of shot possible, I am guessing. I recall a New York shoot like this. If there are more, would be nice to see the whole series sometime. Enjoy Switzerland and other cities.
may i ask why you didn't use a flash to fill in the shadows?
I don't like that look :)
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer fair enough. 😝 thank you for the response.
