He never weighted over 400 lbs. And the only wrestlingmoves he has are shoulderdrop, use of foreign object and blading....

Colon does he best to carry Abdullah here, but there's only so much he can do. The whole match is just punch and punch and punch and punch and punch...

Many of the WWC wrestling events held at the baseball stadium that I've seen on YT did not have ringside seating, so the closest seats to the ring were fairly far away. This event is an exception to that rule, maybe due to high ticket demand.

Saw abby in 3 different matches in 3 separate venues(las carolinas,puerto rico;tokyo,japan & dallas,tx)Two of those bouts were opposite my late friend,bruiser brody and had that type of no BS element i will unfortunately will never be able to experience again even in today's most hyped pay-per-views.

Awesome. One of the many 80's matches that that I've seen. Old school.
Some of the best technical wrestling I've ever seen. The moves were outstanding. The blood on the camera lenses really added to it!
At the recent WWE MITB event Randy Orton was treated by staff during the match after being cut in the scalp by a falling ladder. I can't imagine a wrestler from back in the day being treated for cuts during a match.
Wwe has a no blood policy thats why. Except in special cases
Well... Abdulah had hep C and other's wrestlers contracted it from him cutting them with the same blade he cut himself with. Therefore logically reducing the chances of contracting diseases was probably a good move by WWE. So all the fans buy a bottle of catsup and smear it on your t.v. screen. It has tge same effect.

Not meaning to disrespect but in most matches Colon wrestled with heel tactics even though he was clearly the babyface. Seems opposite of the heel calls and leads the match and the babyface makes the comeback at the end.
Hell, Colon gave Saggy Tits Payback for all his bloodbath victims. I laughed through this one, seeing the Tyrant Bully cop it back.
When he used those tactics it was a revenge match like this one. Abdullah threw ammonia in Carlitos eyes and was blind for months.
The announcer was Hugo Savinovitch. These wrestlers, Carlito Colon and Adbullah the Butcher would actually injure themselves with forks.

The recent Dark Side of the Ring episode about Abdullah references a match between these two in what they depicted as a heavy rain/thunderstorm. The sky looks cloudy here, but it doesn’t look like it is raining. Is that “thunderstorm” match available anywhere? I couldn’t find it on YT.

Fans would get crazy abby said fans used get mad n throw cups with broke glass. N nails. Dutch mantel said a fan tried. Attack with barber razor. He had to actually use his bull whip handle to defend himself. N miltary guy ended up shooting the fan

+jscottrockford Bruiser Brody was talking to Jose Gonzalez about something. They went to the showers,there was a scream and Brody had knife wounds. It took a long time for the ambulance to get there so Brody died. Gonzalez was tried but since the only witnes Tony Atlas didn't show up Gonzalez walked. Many American wrestlers refused to work in Puerto Rico again and Gonzalez was pushed as the number one babyface.
@@yardlet6 you're missing points on this. Atlas and Dutch Mantell were both subpoenaed, but the subpoenas arrived AFTER the trial. Brody was called into the shower by Gonzalez and stabbed the guy. There was nothing he wanted to discuss. He needed Brody in close quarter to stab him. Colon, is believed to be in on the plot, which I firmly believe. Gonzalez and Colon can both rot in hell. I'm glad business dropped in the territory after this.

Haven’t seen the Butcher being butchered so badly before...almost lost consciousness.
Carlos Colon was the only wrestler who knew how to handle the Butcher. He wastes no time & dives right into action working on his face and eyes area.....puncturing him. He doesn’t waste time using useless maneuvers.
And Yet there is another encounter with him ( another match between the two) where Abdullah also takes a serious beating from Carlos Colon. The action happens mostly outside the ring.
